This role is a key driver of the ESG agenda within a leading organization in the agribusiness and industrial sector, with the mission of embedding sustainability into corporate strategy and decision-making. You will play a central role in structuring, monitoring, and evolving ESG initiatives across environmental, social, and governance pillars, ensuring alignment with global standards and corporate commitments. The position involves strong interaction with internal stakeholders and leadership teams, acting as a bridge between data, strategy, and execution. You will contribute directly to sustainability reporting, climate strategy, and corporate governance practices, helping strengthen transparency and long-term value creation. The environment is dynamic and innovation-driven, with strong exposure to strategic decision-making at executive level. Accountabilities:

  • Coordinate the implementation and continuous evolution of the organization’s ESG strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives, sustainability policies, and governance frameworks.
  • Support ESG committees and leadership in defining, monitoring, and improving environmental, social, and governance initiatives across the organization.
  • Develop, monitor, and consolidate ESG indicators, defining targets, action plans, and performance tracking mechanisms to drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead ESG reporting and disclosures, ensuring compliance with international frameworks such as IFRS S1/S2, GRI, SASB, TCFD, and other applicable standards.
  • Manage ESG data collection, validation, and analysis across internal stakeholders, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and reliability of reported information.
  • Coordinate sustainability reporting processes, including annual sustainability reports and executive-level ESG communications.
  • Conduct materiality assessments and analyze ESG risks, impacts, and opportunities to support strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee greenhouse gas emissions inventory (Scopes 1, 2, and 3), supporting climate monitoring and proposing mitigation and adaptation strategies.
  • Support the development and execution of decarbonization strategies, including energy efficiency, renewable energy adoption, and circular economy initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Strategy teams on sustainable finance initiatives such as green financing and sustainability-linked instruments.
  • Support social responsibility initiatives, including human rights, community engagement, corporate volunteering, and workplace well-being programs.
  • Contribute to ESG audits, external assurance processes, ratings, and investor/client questionnaires, ensuring high-quality responses and documentation.
  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Engineering, Economics, Environmental Sciences, or related fields.
    • Advanced English proficiency.
    • Solid experience in corporate ESG, sustainability management, and sustainability reporting.
    • Strong knowledge of IFRS S1 and S2 standards, as well as GRI, SASB, and TCFD frameworks.
    • Experience with greenhouse gas emissions inventory (Scopes 1, 2, and 3).
    • Knowledge of climate strategy, decarbonization, and low-carbon transition initiatives.
    • Familiarity with sustainable finance instruments such as green bonds and sustainability-linked loans.
    • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and SAP.
    • Strong analytical and reporting skills with attention to detail and data accuracy.
    • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple internal stakeholders and senior leadership levels.
    • Bonus: certifications in ESG, climate management, or sustainability reporting frameworks.
    • Bonus: experience in agribusiness, industrial sectors, or emissions-intensive industries.
    • Bonus: familiarity with CDP, EcoVadis, SBTi, and ESG rating methodologies.
    • Bonus: intermediate Spanish proficiency.
