Especialista Técnico de Migración de Datos - Bilingüe

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Especialista Técnico de Migración de Datos - Bilingüe based in Brazil.

This is a fully remote opportunity focused on large-scale data migration and technology transformation.
You will play a key technical role in moving critical data from a legacy acquiring platform to a modern data-processing architecture.
The position combines migration architecture, advanced SQL, scripting, ETL/ELT processes, and database technologies.
You will be responsible for ensuring data integrity, traceability, reconciliation, and quality throughout the migration lifecycle.
The role also involves technical preparation and operational support during critical migration and cutover windows.
You will collaborate closely with international teams and work within a technically demanding, continuously evolving environment.
Strong precision, analytical thinking, and communication skills will be essential to delivering secure and reliable migration outcomes.

Accountabilities

• Design, develop, and validate the technical scripts, processes, and components required to execute end-to-end data migrations.

• Implement rigorous data-quality controls, integrity mechanisms, traceability processes, and reconciliation procedures to minimize the risk of data loss or corruption.

• Prepare and execute technical activities associated with migration projects and provide operational support during migration and cutover windows.

• Maintain and execute ETL/ELT pipelines using appropriate data integration and orchestration technologies.

• Work with relational and/or non-relational databases to support data extraction, transformation, validation, and migration activities.

• Collaborate with international technical teams to align migration activities with established technical standards and project requirements.

• Contribute to the resolution of complex data and migration challenges while supporting continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience executing or leading technology migration and data integration projects.

• Advanced SQL skills and proven scripting experience with technologies such as Python, Shell, PowerShell, PL/SQL, or T-SQL.

• Practical experience maintaining and executing ETL/ELT pipelines using tools such as Informatica, Talend, DataStage, SSIS, Airflow, or dbt.

• Solid experience working with relational and/or non-relational database environments.

• Advanced or fluent English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with international teams.

• Familiarity with development and project collaboration workflows using Git, Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to data accuracy and integrity.

• Ability to work effectively during technically critical migration and cutover periods.

• Previous experience in the payments industry, acquiring platforms, or PCI-DSS security compliance is considered a plus.

• A collaborative mindset and willingness to continuously learn and improve technical practices.
