Finance Manager (El Salvardor)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Finance Manager based in Brazil.

This role offers the opportunity to lead core finance operations within a fast-growing digital financial services environment.
You’ll oversee accounting, financial reporting, treasury, budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls while ensuring strong financial governance.
The position plays an important role in maintaining accurate records and meeting statutory, tax, and regulatory obligations.
You’ll work closely with auditors, tax advisors, financial institutions, regulators, and internal stakeholders.
Your analysis will help translate financial performance into actionable insights that support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
The role also provides exposure to regulated operations, liquidity management, regulatory capital, and financial risk management.
This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for an experienced finance professional who combines technical expertise, commercial awareness, and strong attention to detail.

Accountabilities

• Manage local accounting, bookkeeping, financial reporting, and financial control activities.

• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, statutory obligations, and regulatory financial reporting requirements.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and cost-management processes.

• Oversee treasury activities, liquidity management, and cash-flow forecasting.

• Support regulatory capital, safeguarding, and other financial obligations applicable to regulated digital financial operations.

• Maintain effective internal controls, financial governance frameworks, and financial risk-management processes.

• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, financial institutions, regulators, and other relevant stakeholders.

• Monitor financial performance and provide clear recommendations to support business and commercial decisions.

• Support strategic projects, licensing applications, and new business initiatives from a financial perspective.

• Translate financial data into meaningful business insights for internal stakeholders.

• Help maintain high standards of financial integrity, accuracy, accountability, and governance across local operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.

• Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent is preferred.

• 6+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial management, ideally within banking, payments, fintech, financial services, or digital asset businesses.

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, treasury management, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.

• Experience managing audits, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting requirements.

• Understanding of regulated financial operations and related financial obligations is an advantage.

• Strong financial and commercial acumen, with the ability to connect financial performance to business outcomes.

• Highly analytical, organized, and detail-oriented approach to financial management.

• Ability to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable business insights.

• Hands-on approach and ability to operate effectively in a fast-growing, dynamic environment.

• High level of integrity, accountability, professionalism, and discretion.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across business and regulatory stakeholders.

• Fluency in Spanish and English.

• Must be a citizen of El Salvador and maintain primary residence in El Salvador, with availability to perform the role locally on a full-time basis.
