FullStack Developer - Magento

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a FullStack Developer - Magento based in Brazil.

This role offers the opportunity to build and optimize advanced e-commerce platforms using modern full-stack technologies.
You will contribute to the development of scalable Magento solutions, custom modules, APIs, and integrations that support complex digital commerce experiences.

Accountabilities

As a FullStack Developer specializing in Magento, you will design, develop, and maintain robust e-commerce solutions while contributing to technical improvements across the platform.

• Design, develop, and maintain Magento 2 storefronts, custom modules, and platform customizations.
• Build and extend REST and GraphQL APIs to support headless architectures and third-party integrations.
• Perform Magento upgrades, security patches, troubleshooting, and performance optimization activities.
• Develop backend services and microservices supporting complex e-commerce workflows.
• Create responsive frontend interfaces using modern web technologies and frameworks.
• Write and optimize SQL queries, manage database migrations, and ensure data integrity.
• Develop Python scripts and automation workflows for operational tasks and data processing.
• Configure and maintain Linux cron jobs, shell scripts, and deployment automation processes.
• Participate in code reviews, technical documentation, sprint planning, and Agile development practices.
• Collaborate with QA teams to improve testing coverage and support CI/CD integration.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is an experienced full-stack engineer with strong Magento expertise and the ability to work across backend, frontend, database, and automation technologies.

• 3+ years of professional experience developing with Magento 2, including custom module development.
• Strong proficiency in PHP 7.4+/8.x and Magento framework architecture.
• Solid experience with MySQL, including complex SQL queries, database optimization, and data management.
• Experience using Python scripting for automation and data processing workflows.
• Hands-on experience configuring and managing Linux cron jobs and command-line environments.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.
• Frontend development experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern frameworks such as React or Vue.js.
• Familiarity with Git version control and collaborative software development workflows.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and deliver maintainable, scalable solutions.
• Nice to have: Magento 2 certification, headless Magento experience, or experience with technologies such as RabbitMQ, Redis, Varnish, AWS, Elasticsearch, Docker, Composer, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Bitbucket Pipelines.
