This role is an opportunity for a hands-on fullstack developer to contribute to the rapid delivery of a modern, AI-augmented web product built on a React and Convex architecture. You will work in a fast-paced, remote-first environment where product iteration speed, technical ownership, and collaboration are key. The position blends frontend engineering with backend awareness, requiring close coordination with backend developers to shape APIs, data flows, and real-time features. You will actively use AI-assisted development tools, including Claude, as part of your daily workflow to accelerate delivery and improve code quality. This is a highly collaborative role where technical execution is paired with product thinking and continuous improvement. You will have direct impact on user experience, system design decisions, and overall product evolution.

Accountabilities

You will be responsible for building, shipping, and maintaining a production-ready fullstack application using React and Convex, ensuring strong performance, scalability, and usability. You will collaborate closely with engineering and product stakeholders to translate requirements into functional, well-structured solutions.

• Develop and ship a production-ready React frontend within tight delivery timelines
• Build and maintain features using React and Convex, leveraging real-time and reactive data architecture
• Integrate frontend components with backend APIs and Convex functions
• Collaborate with backend developers to define data contracts and API structures
• Translate product and UI/UX requirements into clean, maintainable interfaces
• Actively use AI tools (e.g., Claude Code) to accelerate development workflows and improve output quality
• Identify UX gaps, propose improvements, and contribute to product and technical decisions
• Ensure responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and application performance
• Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, and team ceremonies
• Write maintainable code with appropriate structure, testing, and documentation

Requirements

You should bring solid experience in frontend development with React, along with strong familiarity with Convex and modern fullstack development practices. This role requires a proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and comfort working in AI-augmented development environments.

• 3+ years of professional experience in frontend development using React
• Strong hands-on experience with Convex, including queries, mutations, and real-time data architecture
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working across frontend-backend boundaries
• Familiarity with state management tools (Redux, Zustand, Context API, or similar)
• Comfortable contributing to backend code when needed (fullstack capability)
• Strong experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code) with a clear workflow perspective
• Product-oriented mindset with the ability to contribute ideas beyond execution
• Understanding of UI background processes and asynchronous data handling
• Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in small, agile teams
• Availability to start immediately and commit full-time to the project
