This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Generative Audio Evaluation - Portuguese based in Brazil.

This freelance opportunity allows you to contribute directly to the development and improvement of generative AI audio technology.
You will evaluate AI-generated audio across short video and text-to-audio tasks, assessing quality, realism, accuracy, and synchronization.
Your feedback will help identify weaknesses and performance issues in emerging AI models and improve their ability to generate natural-sounding content.
The work is fully remote and designed around a flexible, part-time schedule, allowing you to work when it suits you.
You will follow clear evaluation guidelines and apply consistent judgment across speech, music, sound effects, captions, and voice generation.
The role is particularly suited to detail-oriented Portuguese speakers with strong listening skills and an interest in artificial intelligence.
It offers an accessible entry point into ongoing AI evaluation projects while allowing you to work independently from Brazil.

Accountabilities

• Evaluate AI-generated audio for short-form video and text-to-audio tasks according to detailed project-specific guidelines.
• Assess the clarity, quality, realism, and naturalness of generated speech, background music, and sound effects.
• Evaluate audio-video synchronization, including timing, lip-sync accuracy, and alignment between generated audio and visual content.
• Verify that generated audio accurately reflects provided captions, text prompts, and other task requirements.
• Assess the naturalness and overall quality of generated voices and, where applicable, determine whether they appropriately match reference audio.
• Identify quality issues, inconsistencies, and other problems in generated audio outputs.
• Assign accurate and consistent scores based on established evaluation criteria.
• Provide clear, reliable feedback that can help improve the performance and quality of generative AI models.
• Complete assigned evaluation work within the required deadlines and maintain consistency across different evaluation tasks.
• Participate in project-specific testing activities, which may include text-to-speech, audio evaluation, and transcription testing.

Requirements

• Native-level fluency in Portuguese (Brazil), with a strong understanding of spoken language, tone, pronunciation, and linguistic context.
• Excellent listening skills and a highly developed attention to detail.
• Ability to distinguish differences in audio clarity, naturalness, synchronization, voice quality, and overall listening experience.
• Strong ability to follow detailed written evaluation guidelines accurately and consistently.
• Good understanding of spoken language, audio quality, contextual meaning, and audiovisual content.
• Reliable access to a computer and high-quality headphones, which are required for accurate audio evaluation.
• Ability to complete the required evaluation test within 48 hours of receiving the assignment.
• Strong reliability, time management, and ability to work independently in a remote freelance environment.
• Comfortable providing objective assessments and applying predefined scoring criteria rather than relying solely on personal preference.
• Willingness to complete the required screening survey, language assessments, onboarding activities, and project-specific testing.
• Ability to work as either a freelancer/business operator or private individual, depending on your applicable working status and local requirements.
