You will act as a key leader in end-to-end project delivery, ensuring alignment between engineering, software, and factory operations. The position requires strong coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams, as well as the ability to manage technical complexity, budgets, and timelines. You will be responsible for overseeing critical phases such as commissioning, start-up, and integration with enterprise systems like MES and ERP. Operating in a highly technical and collaborative environment, you will contribute directly to industrial efficiency, digital transformation, and sustainability goals. Accountabilities

In this role, you will be responsible for managing industrial automation and equipment implementation projects, ensuring seamless integration between shop floor operations and corporate systems while maintaining control over scope, cost, quality, and schedule. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams and suppliers, oversee critical commissioning phases, and ensure successful project delivery across complex industrial environments.

  • Lead end-to-end management of industrial automation and equipment deployment projects
  • Ensure integration between OT/IT systems, including shop floor, MES, and ERP environments
  • Manage commissioning, start-up, and ramp-up phases of industrial plants
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineering, electrical, mechanical, and software specialists
  • Oversee suppliers and external partners to ensure technical and contractual compliance
  • Control project scope, budget (CAPEX), risks, and schedule adherence
  • Conduct technical and executive-level meetings with stakeholders
  • Ensure successful factory acceptance testing (FAT) and site acceptance testing (SAT)
  • Apply structured project management methodologies (FEL, PRINCE2 where applicable)
  • Requirements

    We are looking for a highly skilled project management professional with strong technical experience in industrial automation and engineering environments. You should have solid expertise in managing complex infrastructure projects, working closely with factory operations and technology systems. Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

    • Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Automation, Mechatronics or related fields)
    • Strong experience in industrial automation projects (PLCs, SCADA, industrial networks)
    • Hands-on experience with commissioning, start-up, and plant ramp-up phases
    • Knowledge of OT/IT integration and industrial architecture systems (MES, ERP)
    • Experience managing industrial suppliers and equipment vendors
    • Solid understanding of industrial protocols (Profinet, Modbus, OPC, Ethernet/IP)
    • Strong project management skills (planning, scope control, risk and cost management)
    • Experience with tools like MS Project or similar scheduling platforms
    • Leadership of multidisciplinary engineering and technical teams
    • Advanced English (fluent preferred)
    • Availability for travel
    • PMP certification and/or MBA in Project Management are a plus
    • Familiarity with Industry 4.0, IIoT, and industrial cybersecurity concepts is a differential
