This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a GTM Engineer (Go-to-market) | Regulated DTC Consumer Brand based in Brazil.

This is a hands-on growth role for someone who combines marketing execution with technical problem-solving and automation. You will build the campaign infrastructure needed to grow a regulated direct-to-consumer brand where conventional paid acquisition channels are unavailable. The role spans outbound partnerships, field marketing, search, lifecycle communications, retention, referrals, and first-party measurement. You will use AI coding tools, APIs, scripts, and automation workflows to eliminate repetitive work and make growth operations more scalable. Working directly with founders and cross-functional teams, you will own initiatives from strategy through execution and measurement. Success means creating reliable growth systems, improving campaign performance, and giving teams better data and tools to execute.

Accountabilities:

  • Build and operate the trade and partnership outbound engine, including defining target segments, sourcing and enriching contact lists, verifying and scoring prospects, developing outreach sequences, and monitoring response and deliverability performance.
  • Determine when automated sequencing is appropriate and when personalized, manual outreach is required based on the nature of the prospect or partnership opportunity.
  • Equip field teams involved in sampling, retail visits, and trade events with targeted prospect lists, optimized routes, sales materials, and structured post-visit follow-up sequences.
  • Work directly with field and sales teams to gather feedback, identify opportunities for improvement, and continuously refine field marketing processes.
  • Own growth channels available within the regulatory environment, including search and content, lifecycle email and SMS, subscription retention, win-back campaigns, dunning recovery, pause-instead-of-cancel initiatives, and referral programs.
  • Build and maintain the measurement and reconciliation processes behind owned growth channels, ensuring campaign, subscription, order, and referral data can be accurately analyzed.
  • Create marketing assets in-house using AI-powered creative tools while maintaining brand consistency and applying sound judgment about when to generate, composite, or involve human creative support.
  • Automate repetitive marketing and operational workflows, including data enrichment, list hygiene, reporting, campaign quality assurance, and content production pipelines.
  • Direct AI coding agents to connect APIs, build integrations, enrich datasets, and automate recurring workflows that improve marketing efficiency.
  • Own first-party measurement across order and subscription data, cohort retention, referral attribution, and search visibility, identifying data-quality issues before they affect decision-making.
  • Maintain rigorous compliance with applicable product, age, territory, messaging, and advertising restrictions, ensuring campaigns and communications remain within established regulatory boundaries.
  • Collaborate directly with founders, sales, field, and partnership stakeholders while taking ownership of projects from planning through implementation and measurement.
  • Requirements

    • Demonstrated hands-on experience directing Claude Code or an equivalent AI coding agent on live projects, including connecting it to an API or MCP server and shipping a solution that remains in active use; this is a core requirement and will be assessed during the interview process.
    • At least 3 years of hands-on marketing experience, ideally with a track record of moving beyond traditional coordination work into data, automation, systems, and technical execution.
    • Proven experience running cold outbound campaigns end-to-end, including list building, sequence creation, performance monitoring, deliverability management, and optimization using tools such as Apollo or equivalent platforms and at least one sequencing tool.
    • Strong data literacy, including the ability to work confidently with CSV files, understand data relationships, and write SQL or effectively use AI assistance to develop and troubleshoot queries.
    • Working knowledge of Python or JavaScript, or demonstrated ability to direct AI tools to write, debug, and validate scripts while maintaining control over the underlying logic.
    • Experience using Git and working with software development workflows.
    • Comfortable working with APIs, including authentication, API keys, rate limits, webhooks, documentation, and identifying the appropriate endpoints for integrations.
    • Strong marketing judgment and communication skills, with the ability to assess offers, identify conversion issues, improve customer-facing pages, and write clear, specific outreach that resonates with business prospects.
    • Ability to work independently, move quickly from idea to execution, and balance technical implementation with commercial and marketing objectives.
    • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking, particularly when working with data quality, campaign performance, attribution, and operational automation.
    • Experience with marketing technology stacks such as Apollo or other enrichment platforms, sequencing tools, commerce and subscription systems, Postgres/SQL, transactional email, SEO platforms, workflow automation tools such as n8n, and AI image-generation tools is an advantage.
    • Previous experience in regulated or highly constrained industries such as alcohol, supplements, pharmaceuticals, gambling, or similar environments is a plus.
    • Experience with DTC ecommerce or subscription businesses, particularly retention, win-back, and referral programs, is desirable.
    • Benefits

      • Remote work opportunity with an expected 9–5 Central Time overlap.
      • Direct exposure to senior leadership, with a high-visibility role and substantial ownership over growth initiatives.
      • Hands-on, builder-oriented environment where you execute and ship solutions rather than simply managing external resources.
      • Significant autonomy across search, lifecycle marketing, retention, referral, trade, partnership, and field growth channels.
      • Opportunity to build and improve an AI-powered agent and automation stack from the ground up.
      • Opportunity to work at the intersection of marketing, automation, data, APIs, and AI-assisted development.
      • Full-time position with compensation based on experience and location, to be confirmed before progressing to candidates.
      • Practical experience building growth infrastructure in a highly regulated consumer environment.
