Human Resources Generalist
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Human Resources Generalist based in Brazil.
This role offers the opportunity to support a broad range of HR activities across the full employee lifecycle.
You’ll play a central role in recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, benefits, training, and offboarding.
Working closely with employees, managers, and leadership, you’ll help ensure HR processes are consistent, organized, and employee-focused.
You’ll manage sensitive information with discretion while maintaining accurate records and reliable HR documentation.
The position combines hands-on HR administration with opportunities to identify process gaps and improve the employee experience.
You’ll work in a growing organization where independent judgment, attention to detail, and dependable execution are highly valued.

Accountabilities

Manage recruiting activities for approved positions, including job postings, resume reviews, candidate screening, interview coordination, and candidate communications.

Coordinate employee onboarding, including required documentation, orientation activities, personnel records, and internal onboarding requirements.

Serve as a primary point of contact for employees regarding routine HR questions, processes, and concerns.

Support managers with employee performance, conduct, and disciplinary matters while maintaining appropriate documentation.

Coordinate employee performance review processes and ensure related documentation is completed and maintained.

Administer routine employee benefits activities, including enrollment, employee changes, and employee questions.

Coordinate required and employee development training while maintaining accurate training records.

Maintain complete, accurate, and confidential personnel files, employee records, HR forms, and related documentation.

Administer established HR policies and procedures and support their consistent application across the organization.

Coordinate employee offboarding, including separation documentation, company-property returns, access-removal coordination, and exit interviews.

Maintain HR checklists, templates, standard operating procedures, and recurring HR processes.

Track HR deadlines, documentation requirements, and routine compliance-related activities.

Identify HR process gaps and recommend improvements that increase consistency, efficiency, and employee experience.

Escalate sensitive or higher-risk employee matters to appropriate leadership when required.

Support additional HR and employee-related initiatives as organizational needs evolve.

2+ years of professional Human Resources experience.

Hands-on experience supporting recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and employee onboarding.

Experience supporting employee offboarding and maintaining personnel documentation.

Working knowledge of employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary processes.

Experience supporting employee benefits administration and responding to employee benefits questions.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple HR activities, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees, managers, and leadership.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records.

Ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee information with discretion and professionalism.

Ability to work independently, identify issues proactively, and follow tasks through to completion.

Broad HR experience within a small or mid-sized organization is preferred.

Experience as an HR Generalist, HR Coordinator, People Operations Specialist, or in a similar role is preferred.

Experience supporting professional services, technology, government contracting, or similar workforces is an advantage.

Familiarity with HRIS, applicant tracking, payroll, benefits, or related HR systems is preferred.

Experience with BambooHR is a plus but not required.

SHRM-CP, PHR, or a similar HR certification is an advantage.

Annual salary range of $75,000–$90,000.
