Accountabilities:
The Senior Infoblox Engineer will be responsible for managing and evolving enterprise DDI environments, supporting modernization initiatives, and ensuring the stability and performance of critical network infrastructure.
- Administer, maintain, and enhance large-scale Infoblox environments within enterprise infrastructures.
- Design, implement, and support corporate DNS, DHCP, and IPAM (DDI) architectures.
- Participate in infrastructure modernization projects, platform migrations, and technology upgrades.
- Develop integrations between DDI solutions, cloud environments, and enterprise platforms.
- Create automation solutions using PowerShell, Python, and REST APIs to improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor DDI infrastructure health, availability, and performance through enterprise monitoring tools.
- Analyze and resolve complex incidents related to DNS and network services.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on architecture, automation, and technological evolution.
- Provide technical guidance and support for infrastructure decisions and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Analysis, or related fields.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience administering and engineering Infoblox environments in large organizations.
- Strong knowledge of Infoblox NIOS and Grid Architecture.
- Advanced understanding of DNS, DHCP, and IPAM (DDI) solutions.
- Experience with enterprise DNS architecture, TCP/IP, subnetting, DNSSEC, and RPZ.
- Experience with DDI platform modernization, migrations, and infrastructure upgrades.
- Knowledge of cloud integrations and enterprise infrastructure environments.
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools, including SNMP, alerts, and performance analysis.
- Proficiency with PowerShell, Python, and REST APIs.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability platforms such as Splunk, Datadog, or similar solutions.
- Strong analytical skills and advanced troubleshooting capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills, with a consultative mindset and ability to collaborate with different teams.
- Ability to organize priorities, take ownership, and lead complex infrastructure initiatives.
- Infoblox CDCA or CDCE certifications.
- Cisco CCNA or CCNP Enterprise certifications.
- Previous experience leading architecture, automation, and enterprise integration projects.
