Integration Specialist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Integration Specialist based in India.

This role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining API-driven integrations that connect SaaS platforms and third-party systems into seamless, automated workflows. You will act as a key technical link between customers, internal teams, and external platforms, translating business requirements into scalable integration solutions. The position involves hands-on work with APIs, data mapping, and workflow automation tools to ensure reliable data exchange across systems. You will collaborate closely with project, product, and customer-facing teams to scope integration needs and deliver high-quality implementations. The role also requires strong troubleshooting capabilities to resolve issues related to performance, data accuracy, and system reliability. This is a highly technical yet client-facing position where problem-solving and communication skills directly impact customer success and platform connectivity.

Accountabilities:

• Design, build, and implement API-based integrations between SaaS platforms and third-party systems to support customer workflows.
• Translate customer and business requirements into scalable, reliable integration architectures and data flows.
• Configure, test, and maintain automated workflows using APIs, JSON, and integration platforms such as Zapier, Make, or similar tools.
• Collaborate with pre-sales, delivery, and customer success teams to scope integration projects and define technical requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues related to data accuracy, system performance, and workflow reliability.
• Work with APIs to build data mappings, ensure proper synchronization, and validate system-to-system communication.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, integration guides, and process workflows.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of integration frameworks, tools, and delivery processes.
• Support experimentation and enhancement of workflows using AI/LLM-assisted tools where applicable.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience working with APIs (REST, JSON) and integrating SaaS platforms or enterprise systems.
• Strong understanding of how modern cloud applications and SaaS ecosystems exchange data.
• Hands-on experience with integration or automation tools such as Zapier, Make, Albato, or similar platforms.
• Ability to read and interpret API documentation and build structured data mappings.
• Basic understanding of scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript is a plus.
• Experience working with CRM or marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Cvent) is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and system reliability.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver in a remote-first environment.
• Familiarity with EventTech, MarTech, or SaaS professional services environments is a plus.
