IT Systems Engineer
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an IT Systems Engineer based in Mexico.

You will help engineer and maintain the systems that enable employees to work securely, efficiently, and effectively.
The role spans identity and access management, endpoint administration, SaaS applications, collaboration tools, and automation.
You’ll work closely with Security, HR Technology, Helpdesk, PMO, and other stakeholders to solve operational challenges.
Your work will directly improve employee productivity, security, and the reliability of core IT services.

This is a hybrid role, with candidates expected to be based in Guadalajara and able to work onsite when needed.
Accountabilities
- Support the administration and ongoing improvement of identity and access management systems, including SSO, MFA, provisioning, and deprovisioning workflows.
- Administer core productivity and collaboration platforms such as Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and related SaaS applications, including user management, configuration, and integrations.
- Manage and support macOS and Windows endpoints using MDM solutions such as Jamf, Intune, or equivalent tools, covering device enrollment, configuration, patching, and compliance.
- Manage the full lifecycle of SaaS applications, from onboarding and configuration through ongoing administration and decommissioning, in partnership with business stakeholders.
- Contribute to automation initiatives that reduce manual effort across provisioning, access reviews, license management, and other IT processes.
- Act as a technical escalation point for complex issues raised by the Helpdesk, particularly those involving access, devices, and business applications.
- Use APIs and no-code or low-code tools to improve workflows and eliminate repetitive tasks.
- Develop, maintain, and improve IT documentation, standard operating procedures, and technical runbooks.
- Identify gaps in systems, processes, and tooling, proactively recommend improvements, and help implement practical solutions.
- Collaborate with HR Technology, Security, PMO, Helpdesk, and other teams to understand business needs and deliver effective IT solutions.
- 2+ years of experience in an IT systems, IT engineering, systems administration, or similar technical role.
- Practical exposure to identity and access management, endpoint management, SaaS administration, or related IT operations.
- Working knowledge of Okta, including SSO, MFA, and user lifecycle management; experience with Okta Workflows or SCIM is a plus.
- Hands-on experience administering Google Workspace and Slack; familiarity with Microsoft 365 is advantageous.
- Experience with an MDM platform such as Jamf, Intune, or an equivalent endpoint management solution.
- Comfortable managing multiple SaaS platforms and supporting their operational lifecycle and vendor relationships.
- Experience using APIs, automation platforms, or no-code/low-code tools to streamline IT processes.
- Strong documentation skills, with the ability to create clear and maintainable procedures and technical guides.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive, results-oriented approach to identifying and resolving technical issues.
- Self-directed and comfortable working independently while knowing when to seek guidance or collaborate with others.
- Demonstrated curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies and expand your technical capabilities.
- Relevant certifications such as Okta Certified Professional, Google Workspace Administrator, or Slack Certified Admin are a plus.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment and be occasionally onsite in the Guadalajara office.
