Accountabilities

As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing strategic accounts, developing commercial opportunities, and ensuring strong business performance through customer relationship management and market-driven strategies.

  • Manage a portfolio of strategic customers and develop long-term partnership plans.
  • Create business growth strategies and account development plans.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, price adjustments, agreements, and strategic discussions.
  • Identify and prospect new opportunities with major retail networks.
  • Conduct market, competitor, and consumer behavior analyses to identify growth opportunities.
  • Manage sell-in and sell-out performance indicators.
  • Identify opportunities to expand product assortment and improve category performance.
  • Provide market insights to support product development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Trade Marketing teams to execute commercial strategies.
  • Monitor product visibility, merchandising standards, and planogram compliance.
  • Track indicators related to product availability, inventory turnover, profitability, and category performance.
  • Coordinate collaboration between Commercial, Marketing, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Technical Support, and Product Development teams.
  • Proactively manage chargebacks, returns, and customer complaints.
  • Monitor logistics performance and service-level indicators, including delivery deadlines, availability, and operational efficiency.
  • Requirements

    The ideal candidate is an experienced commercial professional with strong B2B sales expertise, strategic account management skills, and experience working with large retail customers and consumer markets.

    • Bachelor’s degree completed, with postgraduate studies or MBA preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B sales.
    • Proven experience negotiating with large retail networks.
    • Experience in DIY, Home Decor, Construction, Home Utilities, or Consumer Goods industries.
    • Experience managing categories and collaborating with Trade Marketing teams.
    • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
    • Ability to analyze market trends, customer behavior, and business opportunities.
    • Strategic and results-oriented mindset with strong commercial awareness.
    • Availability for business travel.
    • Intermediate English and Spanish skills.
