Marketing Automation Developer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Marketing Automation Developer based in Brazil.

This role is ideal for an experienced marketing automation professional who enjoys building data-driven customer journeys and improving digital engagement.
You will design, develop, and optimize automated campaigns across email, SMS, and other channels to support business growth.
The position focuses on creating personalized customer experiences through segmentation, dynamic content, and lifecycle automation.
You will work with ecommerce platforms and integrations to ensure seamless data flows and effective campaign execution.
This opportunity requires a strong understanding of marketing technology, analytics, and customer behavior.
You will play a key role in improving conversion rates, customer retention, and overall marketing performance.

Accountabilities:

• Build, configure, and optimize marketing automation campaigns across email, SMS, and multi-channel platforms.
• Develop and maintain customer lifecycle journeys, including Welcome Series, Abandoned Cart, Post-Purchase, and Win-Back automation flows.
• Create personalized customer experiences through advanced segmentation, dynamic content, and targeted messaging strategies.
• Integrate marketing automation tools with ecommerce platforms and external systems using APIs and webhooks.
• Monitor campaign performance, analyze engagement metrics, and implement improvements to increase conversions and revenue.
• Ensure strong email deliverability practices by managing authentication standards such as SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
• Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to continuously improve automation strategies and customer engagement initiatives.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in marketing automation, lifecycle marketing, CRM, or related digital marketing roles.
• Strong hands-on experience building and optimizing campaigns, flows, and customer journeys within marketing automation platforms.
• Experience working with ecommerce ecosystems, including Shopify integrations and API-based connections.
• Solid understanding of segmentation, personalization, customer data management, and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of email deliverability best practices, including SPF, DKIM, and DMARC configuration.
• Ability to analyze campaign results and translate insights into actionable improvements.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
