Master Devops DevOps Engineer (AWS)

This role is designed for a senior DevOps professional who thrives at the intersection of platform architecture, cloud engineering, and technical leadership. You will play a key role in shaping scalable, high-performance infrastructure solutions built on AWS, with a strong focus on automation and reliability. Working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, you will design and optimize CI/CD pipelines, improve deployment strategies, and enhance overall platform efficiency. The role also involves leading a small team of engineers while mentoring peers and driving best practices across DevOps operations. You will actively contribute to architecture decisions, proof of concepts, and the adoption of emerging technologies. In addition, you will engage with stakeholders and clients to align technical solutions with business needs and delivery expectations.
Accountabilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and continuous optimization of scalable AWS-based infrastructure and platform architecture solutions.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket to ensure efficient, automated, and reliable delivery workflows.
- Design Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation to enable reproducible environments.
- Conduct proof of concepts (PoCs) to evaluate and introduce new tools, technologies, and best practices.
- Monitor system performance, reliability, and scalability, ensuring high availability across environments.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, deployment, and application issues, implementing long-term solutions.
- Integrate security best practices into cloud architecture and deployment processes.
- Lead, mentor, and support a small DevOps team while promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate directly with clients and stakeholders to define priorities, manage expectations, and ensure successful delivery.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Extensive experience as a DevOps Engineer with strong focus on AWS and platform architecture.
- Proven experience in technical leadership or team management roles.
- Strong expertise in CI/CD pipeline design and optimization, especially using Bitbucket.
- Advanced scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, or similar).
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
- Deep knowledge of AWS services and cloud infrastructure provisioning.
- Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Experience conducting PoCs and evaluating emerging technologies.
- Security-first mindset with experience implementing secure cloud architectures.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to work across technical teams and client-facing environments.
