Mulesoft Engineer

This role is focused on designing and delivering scalable integration solutions using the Mulesoft Anypoint Platform within a high-impact international security environment. You will be responsible for building and maintaining API-led architectures that enable seamless communication between systems, ensuring robustness, scalability, and security across enterprise integrations. Working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, you will participate in all stages of the software lifecycle, from requirements analysis and technical design to implementation and testing. The position requires strong expertise in API development, integration patterns, and secure data exchange mechanisms. You will also contribute to defining API governance standards and best practices, ensuring high-quality and consistent delivery. Accountabilities:

• Design, develop, and implement integration solutions using Mulesoft Anypoint Platform across complex enterprise environments.
• Build and maintain API-led connectivity architectures, including REST and SOAP-based services.
• Participate in requirements analysis, technical design, development, and testing activities throughout the software lifecycle.
• Define and enforce API governance, architecture standards, and best practices across integration solutions.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth 2.0, SAML, SSO, and OpenID Connect.
• Work with DataWeave for data transformation and integration logic implementation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration with systems such as Salesforce and data lake environments.
• Support troubleshooting, optimization, and continuous improvement of integration services.

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with Mulesoft Anypoint Platform (mandatory).
• Solid knowledge of DataWeave, API Manager, and API-led connectivity concepts.
• Experience designing and implementing API-based integration architectures.
• Strong understanding of REST and SOAP web services, including service RESTification.
• Experience working with SQL Server for data queries and integration support.
• Proficiency with tools such as Postman and Jira.
• Experience implementing secure API authentication protocols (OAuth 2.0, SAML, SSO, OpenID Connect).
• Experience integrating with Salesforce and/or data lake or similar systems.
• Familiarity with CloudHub and cloud-based deployment environments.
• Knowledge of messaging systems such as RabbitMQ is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in complex integration ecosystems.
