MuleSoft Integration Architect (Lead)

In this senior technical leadership role, you will define and drive enterprise integration architecture strategies across complex, large-scale systems. You will be responsible for designing robust, secure, and scalable integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, enabling seamless connectivity between applications, data, and services. Acting as a key architectural authority, you will guide engineering teams, establish integration standards, and ensure best practices are consistently applied across projects. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, and development teams to align integration strategies with organizational goals. This role combines hands-on architectural design with leadership responsibilities, ensuring high-quality API-led ecosystems built for performance, reliability, and long-term scalability. The environment is fast-paced, international, and highly focused on delivering enterprise-grade solutions for global clients.

Accountabilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise integration architectures using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Define integration standards, governance frameworks, and best practices across multiple teams and projects.
• Design and oversee API-led connectivity solutions, including System, Process, and Experience APIs.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to integration engineers and development teams.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical architects to define scalable integration strategies aligned with enterprise goals.
• Ensure performance, scalability, security, and reliability across all integration solutions.
• Conduct architecture and code reviews, enforcing governance and ensuring alignment with standards.
• Manage technical risks, dependencies, and architectural challenges across integration initiatives.
• Maintain comprehensive architecture documentation, including solution designs and technical guidelines.

Requirements:

You are an experienced integration architect with strong expertise in MuleSoft and enterprise integration design. You bring deep technical knowledge combined with strategic thinking and leadership capabilities, enabling you to guide teams and influence architectural decisions in complex environments. You are comfortable working with global stakeholders and driving high-impact integration initiatives across cloud and hybrid ecosystems.

• 7+ years of experience in integration and middleware technologies, with strong MuleSoft expertise.
• Proven experience designing and delivering large-scale integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Strong knowledge of API-led architecture, microservices, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP services, JSON, and XML data formats.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and hybrid architectures.
• Strong understanding of security protocols including OAuth 2.0, JWT, and SSL/TLS.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for integration deployments.
• MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect certification is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1 level) and experience working with U.S. clients.
