Order Fulfillment Specialist

This role sits at the heart of a fast-scaling e-commerce operations ecosystem, ensuring that customer orders move seamlessly from warehouse dispatch to final delivery. You will act as the critical link between supply chain and customer service, identifying and resolving fulfillment issues before they impact the customer experience. Operating in a high-volume, performance-driven environment, youβll monitor shipments in real time, coordinate with 3PL and carrier partners, and ensure accountability across the delivery chain. Your work directly influences customer satisfaction, refund rates, and operational efficiency across multiple consumer brands. This is a highly execution-focused role for someone who thrives on ownership, speed, and precision in logistics operations.
Accountabilities
In this role, you will ensure end-to-end visibility and control over order fulfillment processes across multiple channels, acting as the first line of defense against delivery failures and delays. You will work closely with internal teams and external logistics partners to maintain operational continuity and high service levels.
- Monitor real-time order flow across fulfillment systems, tracking dispatch, carrier handoffs, and final delivery confirmation
- Proactively detect stalled or delayed shipments and resolve issues before they escalate into customer complaints
- Serve as the primary operational liaison between 3PL providers, supply chain teams, and customer service
- Own escalation workflows by documenting fulfillment failures, analyzing impact, and routing issues to relevant stakeholders
- Track 3PL and carrier performance against SLAs and highlight recurring operational breakdowns
- Support chargeback recovery efforts by identifying fulfillment failures and ensuring proper documentation
- Maintain escalation logs, analyze patterns, and contribute to continuous process improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during daily and weekly operational reviews, reporting key fulfillment metrics
- 2+ years of experience in e-commerce operations, fulfillment coordination, or supply chain support
- Hands-on experience with 3PL providers, carrier networks, or order management systems
- Familiarity with Amazon or marketplace fulfillment systems (Seller Central, FBA/FBM, or similar)
- Strong proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel for tracking and reporting operational data
- Ability to interpret shipment tracking data and identify issues proactively
- Clear, concise written communication skills for escalation and stakeholder updates
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to act quickly under pressure
- Experience in high-growth or DTC e-commerce environments is highly preferred
- Exposure to chargeback recovery or logistics dispute resolution is a plus
