Accountabilities:

As a Business Consultant focused on Energy & Utilities, you will support clients in their transformation journeys by analyzing business challenges, structuring solutions, and helping implement improvements across processes, systems, and operations. You will act as a bridge between business, technology, and innovation teams while contributing to strategic projects.

• Support the transformation of client operations by structuring business challenges and defining solutions with project leaders and multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in consulting projects focused on problem-solving, process improvement, digital transformation, and operational efficiency.
• Engage directly with clients when required, including data gathering, workshops, and coordination of improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address business challenges across different industries.
• Map requirements for automation and software solutions, supporting technology teams in delivering effective solutions.
• Develop digital and analytical solutions using technologies such as BI, ETL, Python, and Artificial Intelligence.
• Conduct structured interviews with technical teams, analyze information, prepare reports, and present findings to clients.
• Interpret technical documentation related to engineering, construction, maintenance, reliability, and regulatory topics within the Energy & Utilities sector.
• Evaluate opportunities to improve projects, services, systems, processes, and business structures.
• Facilitate discussions between stakeholders, balancing technical, business, and management perspectives.
• Contribute to innovative projects by collaborating with global teams and developing solutions tailored to client needs.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate has experience in business consulting, digital transformation, or technology-driven projects, with the ability to understand complex business environments and translate challenges into practical solutions. You should have strong analytical skills, communication abilities, and interest in the Energy & Utilities sector.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Experience working on engineering projects, IT transformation initiatives, or digitalization programs.
• Previous consulting experience is considered a plus.
• Knowledge of Energy & Utilities operations is a differentiator.
• Understanding of consulting methodologies, continuous improvement practices, and structured problem-solving approaches.
• Familiarity with automation, data analytics, BI, ETL, Python, and AI solutions.
• Knowledge of networks, OT systems, operational infrastructure, telecommunications, or control room environments is a plus.
• Ability to analyze technical reports and translate information into business improvement opportunities.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and business stakeholders.
• Advanced English and/or Spanish skills are considered a plus, especially for technical meetings and international collaboration.
• Certifications in technology or related areas are a differentiator.
