We are looking for a mid-level back-end developer to help build and evolve scalable technology solutions that improve the employee benefits experience.
You will work on products used by companies and professionals across Brazil, contributing to reliable and innovative platforms.
The role involves designing APIs, improving existing systems, and participating in technical decisions that shape the product architecture.
You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams in a remote and highly collaborative environment.

Accountabilities:

As a Back-End Developer, you will contribute to the design, development, maintenance, and evolution of digital products, ensuring quality, scalability, and performance. You will collaborate with engineering teams, participate in architectural discussions, and help deliver reliable solutions through strong development practices.

• Develop and maintain REST APIs to support product evolution and new features.
• Build high-quality software through unit tests, integration tests, and clean coding practices.
• Participate in solution design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Perform code reviews and collaborate with other developers to improve engineering standards.
• Support deployment processes and monitor application releases.
• Think about solutions end-to-end, considering usability, reliability, and business impact.
• Collaborate with different teams to deliver effective technical solutions.

Requirements:

We are looking for a developer with solid back-end experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with others. The ideal candidate enjoys learning, adapting to new challenges, and applying engineering best practices.

• Previous experience working with back-end development.
• Experience designing, building, and consuming REST APIs.
• Knowledge of object-oriented and/or functional programming concepts.
• Experience with frameworks such as Micronaut or Spring.
• Experience with data access technologies such as Micronaut Data or Hibernate.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests.
• Knowledge of relational databases.
• Familiarity with JVM languages such as Kotlin, Java, or similar technologies.
• Experience with asynchronous messaging solutions such as Kafka, Azure, or RabbitMQ is a plus.
• Knowledge of TDD practices, API documentation tools (Swagger/OpenAPI), and REST API best practices.
• Familiarity with concepts such as SOLID principles, DRY, Hexagonal Architecture, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, GitHub Actions, and monitoring tools is desirable.
• Ability to communicate clearly, collaborate with different teams, and manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
