This role sits within a highly collaborative and product-driven engineering environment focused on building and evolving a legal software ecosystem used by thousands of professionals across Brazil. You will work on the implementation of medium-complexity features, bug fixes, and performance improvements, contributing directly to the quality and reliability of the platform. The position involves both frontend and backend development, with exposure to modern architectures, APIs, and distributed systems. You will also participate in architectural discussions, code reviews, and technical ceremonies, helping ensure engineering consistency across teams. In addition, you will collaborate closely with junior developers, supporting their growth and removing technical blockers. This is a remote-first role where technical excellence and collaboration go hand in hand.

Accountabilities:

• Develop and implement medium to high-complexity features across frontend and backend systems.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues through debugging, log analysis, and troubleshooting processes.
• Review pull requests and ensure adherence to engineering best practices and code quality standards.
• Fix bugs, maintain system stability, and contribute to technical debt reduction.
• Participate in agile ceremonies such as planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support junior developers by providing technical guidance and removing impediments.
• Contribute to system architecture discussions and propose technical improvements.
• Ensure proper documentation of technical solutions, APIs, and architectural decisions (ADRs).
• Participate in pair programming and collaborative code development activities.
• Help maintain consistency in development standards, including testing strategies and branching practices.

Requirements:

• Solid understanding of software development fundamentals, algorithms, and programming logic.
• Experience with TypeScript, ES6+, HTML semantics, and CSS-in-JS solutions (Styled Components or Tailwind).
• Experience with frontend frameworks such as React or AngularJS.
• Alternatively, strong backend experience with Java and/or Kotlin, including frameworks and lifecycle understanding.
• Strong communication skills to align expectations and collaborate effectively across teams.
• Product mindset with ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in complex environments.
• System thinking with understanding of how distributed services interact.
• Proactive attitude toward identifying improvements, technical debt, and optimization opportunities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in agile, cross-functional teams.
