This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Pessoa Desenvolvedora Typescript - Sênior based in Brazil.

This is a remote senior engineering opportunity focused on building and sustaining scalable digital solutions within the health and benefits technology ecosystem.
You will work primarily with TypeScript while also contributing to Ruby on Rails and other technologies when needed.
The role covers the full development lifecycle, from architecture and implementation through automated testing, deployment, and production monitoring.
You will contribute to both a core monolithic platform and microservices and integrations with external partners.
Engineering quality is owned directly by developers, with strong expectations around testing, code review, clean architecture, and operational reliability.
You will collaborate closely with product and engineering professionals in multidisciplinary Agile squads, while maintaining an end-to-end view of the product.
The initial engagement is expected to last 2 to 3 months, with the possibility of continued collaboration based on project needs.

Accountabilities

• Develop and maintain scalable, resilient RESTful APIs using TypeScript and Ruby on Rails.

• Participate throughout the software development lifecycle, including architecture, implementation, automated testing, deployment, and production monitoring.

• Contribute to the evolution of the core monolithic platform as well as microservices and integrations with external partners such as ERP systems, payment gateways, and other platforms.

• Ensure technical quality through code reviews, Clean Code and SOLID principles, and adherence to engineering standards.

• Monitor and improve application performance through APM tools, resource tuning, and database query analysis and optimization.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary squads following Scrum or Kanban practices and work closely with engineering and product teams.

• Navigate different technical contexts, including TypeScript and mobile-related workflows, while maintaining a broad understanding of the product ecosystem.

• Contribute proactively to technical decisions, continuous improvement, and the reliable delivery of business value.

Requirements

• Solid professional experience with TypeScript.

• Professional experience with Ruby on Rails.

• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, including design, documentation, and consumption.

• Solid experience with PostgreSQL and data modeling.

• Proficiency with Git and GitHub.

• Strong familiarity with automated testing, including tools such as RSpec and knowledge of unit, integration, and black-box testing approaches.

• Professional experience with AWS and cloud-based environments.

• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience with NoSQL databases and caching or messaging technologies such as Redis, DocumentDB, and DynamoDB.

• Experience with CI/CD solutions such as GitHub Actions and Argo CD.

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and messaging technologies such as AWS SNS/SQS is desirable.

• Spanish language skills are a plus but are not mandatory.

• Strong ownership mindset, with autonomy, proactivity, accountability, and a focus on delivering meaningful business value.

• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively across technical and product contexts.

• Curiosity and willingness to work across different technologies and understand products from end to end.
