As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design, build, and evolve APIs, services, and integration components that support products and platforms at scale.
You will participate across the full software lifecycle, from technical conception and development through production operations and continuous improvement.
The role combines hands-on engineering with API architecture, integration patterns, security, observability, resilience, and platform engineering.
You will work with technologies such as Java, Go, Node.js, REST APIs, webhooks, events, and messaging platforms to deliver reliable and maintainable solutions.
You will collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions and end-to-end deliveries.
The position also provides opportunities to shape engineering standards, shared integration components, API governance, and modern AI-enabled development practices.

Accountabilities:

• Design, develop, and evolve APIs, services, and integration components supporting products and platforms at scale, participating throughout the software lifecycle from conception to production operation.
• Build synchronous and asynchronous integrations using Java, Go, Node.js, REST APIs, webhooks, events, and messaging platforms, with a focus on quality, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Contribute to the evolution of the integration platform by developing shared components and frameworks and defining API contracts, engineering patterns, and security models such as OAuth2, OIDC, JWT, and mTLS within zero-trust principles.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to understand business requirements, propose appropriate technical solutions, and drive deliveries from beginning to end.
• Operate integration solutions, API Gateway components, and observability platforms, investigating incidents and implementing improvements to system reliability.
• Develop resilience, scalability, and automation mechanisms, including CI/CD, APIOps, and platform engineering practices that support operational efficiency and high availability.
• Participate in engineering standard definition, technical reviews, knowledge sharing, and the adoption of AI tools to accelerate platform evolution.
• Bring a digital mindset and curiosity for emerging technologies, exploring how Artificial Intelligence can improve processes, experiences, and business outcomes.

Requirements

• Experience designing, documenting, versioning, and securing APIs, including OpenAPI contracts, authentication and authorization with OAuth2 and JWT, and integration between systems.
• Professional software development experience with Java, Go, or Node.js.
• Ability to gather requirements, investigate incidents, and interact with customers or support teams when required.
• Strong digital mindset and active curiosity about technology, with an interest in understanding how Artificial Intelligence can transform processes, experiences, and results.
• Experience with CI/CD, automation, and APIOps/GitOps is desirable, including automated validation pipelines, deployment strategies, and self-service approaches to API lifecycle governance.
• Experience with observability tools such as OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, and Jaeger is a plus.
• Practical experience using AI tools such as LLMs and copilots for productivity, code review, and documentation is desirable.
• Interest or knowledge in Artificial Intelligence technologies, tools, applications, and concepts is valued.
• Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across product, engineering, support, and other stakeholders.
