Product Designer Pl/Sr
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Designer Pl/Sr based in Brazil.
This role offers the opportunity to shape the redesign of a large-scale SuperApp across Android, iOS, and Java backend platforms. You will help modernize customer journeys while preserving existing functionality and improving the overall user experience. Your focus will span visual design, accessibility, UX, UI, information architecture, and prototyping. You will contribute directly to Product Discovery by translating customer needs and Jobs To Be Done into clear service blueprints and journey experiences. The role also involves collaborating with development teams and business stakeholders to bring design best practices into the product lifecycle. Accountabilities:
Lead the design practice for the SuperApp redesign, translating customer needs into accessible, intuitive, and visually consistent experiences while providing clear design direction throughout the project.
- Define visual design standards, patterns, and accessibility guidelines for the SuperApp.
- Act as a co-owner of Product Discovery activities, moderating and facilitating workshops and translating insights into actionable design directions.
- Build and communicate Service Blueprints and Customer Consumption Journeys based on Jobs To Be Done.
- Apply UX Research techniques to understand user needs, behaviors, and opportunities.
- Develop experiences grounded in strong Information Architecture and visual design principles.
- Create low- and high-fidelity prototypes to explore, validate, and communicate design solutions.
- Design and contribute to the evolution of a scalable Design System.
- Collaborate closely with development teams, sharing technical knowledge and helping adapt and replicate relevant market best practices.
- Establish strong relationships with stakeholders across different business areas and organizational levels.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles and influence project decisions through design expertise.
- Contribute to consistent experiences across multiple channels and touchpoints.
- Help raise the overall quality and maturity of design practices within the project and broader team.
- Professional experience in Product Design, UX Design, UI Design, or a related discipline.
- Practical experience with UX Research methodologies and techniques.
- Strong understanding of Information Architecture, visual design, accessibility, and user-centered design principles.
- Experience creating low- and high-fidelity prototypes.
- Experience defining, implementing, and evolving Design Systems.
- Ability to contribute to Product Discovery through facilitation, moderation, and collaborative problem-solving.
- Experience translating Jobs To Be Done and customer insights into journeys, service blueprints, and product experiences.
- Experience working within scaled or large multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience designing experiences across multiple channels and platforms.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to advocate for design decisions at different organizational levels.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with development teams and understand how design decisions translate into technical implementation.
