Product Manager Sênior - PIX

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Manager Sênior - PIX based in Brazil.

You will be responsible for shaping product strategy, defining priorities, and delivering seamless payment experiences for users and businesses.

Accountabilities:

As a Senior Product Manager focused on payment solutions, you will own the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of payment journeys while ensuring alignment with business goals, regulatory requirements, and customer needs.

• Define payment product strategies aligned with business objectives and long-term product vision.
• Translate technical regulations and payment ecosystem requirements into clear product initiatives and priorities.
• Build, validate, and manage product roadmaps in collaboration with key stakeholders and leadership teams.
• Define product success metrics, analyze performance indicators, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Make strategic product decisions and manage complex negotiations with internal and external stakeholders.
• Anticipate potential risks, dependencies, and challenges that may impact delivery timelines.
• Prioritize features and initiatives based on customer impact, business value, and development efficiency.
• Lead product rituals including planning sessions, refinements, daily meetings, and retrospectives.
• Partner with design teams to improve user experiences and ensure high-quality product delivery.
• Communicate product initiatives, progress, business impacts, and risks to leadership teams.
• Develop and evolve Pix payment journeys, including cash-in, cash-out, Pix Cobrança, Pix Automático, and refund processes.
• Monitor regulatory changes from the Brazilian Central Bank and translate impacts into actionable product strategies.
• Manage the lifecycle of boleto solutions, including issuance, registration, settlement, cancellation, and reconciliation processes.
• Evaluate opportunities across other payment methods, such as TED, cards, and digital wallets, ensuring alignment with the broader payment platform strategy.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced product leader with strong fintech expertise, capable of navigating complex environments, making strategic decisions, and collaborating across multiple teams.

• Previous experience working as a Senior Product Manager.
• Deep knowledge of Pix payment infrastructure, including end-to-end journeys, Central Bank regulations, DICT, MED, and related product implications.
• Strong understanding of boleto operations, including registration, settlement, and banking reconciliation processes.
• Experience managing products in payment platforms, fintechs, or financial technology environments.
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous scenarios and make decisions with limited information.
• Strong analytical skills, including research, data interpretation, and structured decision-making.
• Ability to prioritize initiatives, balance quality and speed, and define what delivers the highest business impact.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present ideas, defend decisions, and align different stakeholders.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Leadership mindset, ownership, autonomy, and ability to act as a reference within product teams.
• Attention to detail and commitment to improving user experiences and product quality.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience as a Senior Product Manager in payment platforms involving cards, banking accounts, ledgers, authorization, or settlement systems.
• Experience leading Pix and/or boleto products within regulated financial institutions or fintech companies.
• Familiarity with AI tools to optimize workflows, analysis, and daily product activities.
