Python Automation Test Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Python Automation Test Engineer based in Brazil.

This fully remote role offers an opportunity to build and maintain reliable automated testing solutions for modern web applications. You will focus on Python-based automation, end-to-end testing, and the development of scalable QA frameworks. Working with tools such as PyTest, Selenium, Allure, and BrowserStack, you will help ensure consistent quality across browsers and devices. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA professionals to identify issues and support high-quality releases. The position provides autonomy within a remote environment while requiring strong communication and analytical skills. It is well suited to a hands-on test engineer who enjoys solving problems and improving automated testing processes.

Accountabilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python.
• Plan and execute end-to-end testing for web applications to validate functionality and user workflows.
• Build, implement, and maintain automation frameworks using PyTest.
• Develop automated UI test cases using Selenium.
• Apply the Page Object Model (POM) design pattern to create maintainable and scalable automation solutions.
• Generate, review, and analyze test reports using Allure.
• Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing using BrowserStack.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to identify quality risks and support reliable software releases.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution.

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of relevant professional experience in software testing or test automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python.
• Practical experience developing and maintaining automated tests with PyTest.
• Proficiency in Selenium automation testing.
• Demonstrated experience performing end-to-end testing for web applications.
• Good understanding of the Page Object Model and automation framework design principles.
• Experience using Allure for test reporting and results analysis.
• Hands-on experience with BrowserStack for cross-browser and cross-device testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration in a fully remote environment.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git and version control systems, or Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
