This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a QA - Automação de Testes (Cypress | Postman | Azure DevOps | IA) based in Brazil.

This senior QA automation role is focused on designing and implementing robust quality strategies across complex software environments.
You will contribute to the reliability and scalability of digital solutions by building and evolving automated testing frameworks.
The position combines functional testing, API validation, E2E automation, and CI/CD integration to ensure high-quality releases.
You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, influencing quality practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
The role also involves leveraging AI-powered tools to accelerate test creation, improve coverage, and enhance validation processes.

Accountabilities:

The role is responsible for ensuring software quality through strategic testing approaches, automation development, and continuous improvement of engineering practices.

• Plan, define, and execute functional and automated testing strategies aligned with business and technical objectives.
• Develop, maintain, and improve automated test scripts, ensuring scalability, stability, and reliability of test suites.
• Build API automation solutions using Postman and/or Bruno, including contract validation, payload verification, and system integration testing.
• Create and maintain End-to-End (E2E) automated tests using Cypress.
• Integrate automated testing processes into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout the software development lifecycle to identify risks and improve product quality.
• Leverage AI tools such as Claude Code or similar solutions to generate test scenarios, accelerate automation development, and support validation agents.
• Contribute to the evolution of quality strategies by recommending process improvements and increasing test coverage.
• Validate solutions involving enterprise system integrations, event-driven architectures, and AI-powered applications.
• Support the creation and prototyping of AI agents designed to enhance software quality processes.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a senior QA professional with strong automation expertise, analytical thinking, and the ability to operate independently in complex technology environments.

• Solid experience working as a Senior QA Engineer in software development projects.
• Strong knowledge of test automation using Cypress.
• Hands-on experience with API automation using Postman and/or Bruno.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, including Boards, Pipelines, and test integration into build and release workflows.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript for automation development.
• Ability to independently define testing strategies and quality approaches.
• Experience with functional, integration, regression, and API testing.
• Practical experience using Artificial Intelligence tools such as Claude Code or similar solutions to generate test scenarios, maintain automation, and improve productivity.
• Experience with ERP and Procurement platforms such as SAP, Coupa, Linkana, or Atlas.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures and complex system integrations.
• Experience validating AI-based solutions involving OCR, natural language processing, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), semantic search, compliance validation, and comparison of unstructured documents.
• Experience creating or prototyping AI agents to support software quality activities.
• Strong communication skills, analytical mindset, and the ability to connect technical quality practices with business needs.
