QA Automation

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a QA Automation based in Brazil.

This role is an opportunity for a quality-focused automation professional to contribute to the delivery of high-performing, reliable, and scalable software solutions in a modern, fast-paced digital environment. You will play a key role in ensuring product quality across the entire development lifecycle by combining manual and automated testing expertise. The position involves designing and maintaining robust test frameworks, improving CI/CD pipelines, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless software releases. You will be part of a collaborative and innovation-driven environment where automation and engineering excellence are central to delivery practices. Strong technical skills in JavaScript and Cypress will be essential to succeed in this role. Accountabilities:

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure high software quality across releases.
• Perform both manual and automated testing to identify bugs, defects, and performance issues early in the development cycle.
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Cypress to improve efficiency and test coverage.
• Create clear and detailed bug reports, ensuring effective communication with development and product teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing strategies, acceptance criteria, and quality standards.
• Implement and support CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to streamline testing and deployment processes.
• Participate in requirements analysis and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and practices.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in QA Automation with strong understanding of manual and automated testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks using Cypress.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript for test automation development.
• Experience creating detailed test plans, test cases, and defect documentation.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools, especially Azure DevOps.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills, with ability to work in English at an intermediate to advanced level (B2 or higher).
• Solid analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Nice to have: experience in large-scale digital transformation or enterprise environments.
