QA Automation

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a QA Automation based in Brazil.

This role focuses on ensuring software quality, reliability, and performance through advanced testing practices.
You will contribute to the design, execution, and improvement of automated and manual testing strategies.
The position involves close collaboration with development teams and business stakeholders in a multicultural environment.
You will help build robust testing frameworks, improve delivery processes, and support high-quality software releases.

Accountabilities:

The professional will be responsible for designing and executing quality assurance strategies, improving automation processes, and ensuring reliable software delivery through collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Develop, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases to validate software quality.
• Perform manual and automated testing to identify bugs, defects, and improvement opportunities.
• Create, document, and communicate bug reports clearly with development teams.
• Build and maintain automated testing solutions using Cypress.
• Support the implementation and improvement of CI/CD processes through Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define testing requirements, approaches, and quality strategies.
• Analyze software behavior and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Communicate effectively in English with global teams through written and verbal interactions.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate has strong experience in software quality assurance, test automation, and modern development workflows, with the ability to work collaboratively in dynamic environments.

• Experience creating and executing test plans and test cases.
• Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing methodologies.
• Experience identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects.
• Proficiency with test automation tools, especially Cypress.
• Experience with JavaScript development for test automation.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps and CI/CD practices.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (B2 level or higher).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
