This role is focused on ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of complex software systems through structured testing strategies and continuous validation practices. You will be responsible for designing and maintaining test plans, executing functional and non-functional testing, and contributing to automation efforts across multiple systems and environments. The position plays a key role in supporting agile development teams by identifying defects early and ensuring software meets business and technical requirements. You will also work with modern QA methodologies such as BDD, ATDD, and specification-based testing approaches. Operating in a collaborative and innovation-driven environment, you will contribute directly to improving product quality, user experience, and system stability. Accountabilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for defining, executing, and maintaining comprehensive quality assurance strategies across software systems. You will ensure test coverage, validate requirements, and support both manual and automated testing activities while contributing to continuous improvement in product quality.

• Develop, maintain, and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases across systems
• Create and manage test scripts, automated and manual, ensuring consistent execution and reporting
• Perform functional, regression, integration, acceptance, performance, and non-functional testing
• Build and maintain test data, mocks, stubs, simulators, and testing environments
• Monitor and improve test coverage across systems and development cycles
• Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring proper linkage to requirements and artifacts
• Support UAT and collaborate with business and development teams during validation cycles
• Apply methodologies such as ATDD, BDD, and Specification by Example in test design
• Evaluate system performance, security risks (including OWASP guidelines), and reliability factors
• Contribute to MVP validation, experimentation, and product quality metrics tracking

Requirements:

This position requires strong experience in software testing, quality engineering, and test automation within structured development environments. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of working across technical and business teams.

• Degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent postgraduate specialization
• At least 3 years of experience in software testing, including functional and non-functional testing
• Certifications such as CTFL, ISTQB Agile Tester, CBTS, or equivalent are required
• Experience with test automation tools, bug tracking systems, and test data management
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies including regression, integration, and performance testing
• Familiarity with OWASP security testing principles and vulnerability identification
• Experience working in Agile and/or traditional development environments
• Ability to design test scenarios based on business requirements and system behavior
• Strong analytical thinking, documentation skills, and attention to detail
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple testing cycles
