This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Remote Estimator (Demolition) based in Brazil.

This is a full-time remote opportunity for an experienced estimator supporting U.S. demolition and construction projects.
You’ll take ownership of accurate quantity takeoffs, estimates, bids, and cost breakdowns from project documents.
The role combines technical estimating with vendor coordination and pre-construction support.
You’ll work closely with subcontractors and suppliers to gather pricing and keep bids competitive and complete.
Strong attention to demolition-specific costs, including labor, equipment, hauling, disposal, and site conditions, is essential.
The environment is lean and practical, with a strong emphasis on independent execution, organization, and clear communication.
This role is ideal for someone who brings hands-on U.S. demolition estimating experience and can work effectively with minimal supervision.

Accountabilities:

  • Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for U.S. demolition projects and translate project requirements into accurate estimates.
  • Prepare bids, cost breakdowns, and pricing information while accounting for demolition-specific labor, equipment, hauling, disposal, and subcontractor costs.
  • Review construction plans, drawings, specifications, scopes, and other bid documents to identify project requirements and potential cost considerations.
  • Process RFIs, submittals, revisions, bid updates, and related estimating documentation.
  • Contact vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive and reliable pricing for materials, services, equipment, hauling, and disposal.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and support pre-construction activities to ensure estimates are complete and aligned with project requirements.
  • Track bids, costs, and estimating information using Excel and QuickBooks.
  • Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date estimating records and documentation.
  • Provide general operational and administrative support related to demolition bidding and pre-construction activities.
  • Manage estimating priorities independently while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Requirements:

    • 3+ years of hands-on experience specifically in U.S. demolition estimating; direct demolition experience is strongly preferred over general construction estimating.
    • Strong understanding of demolition scopes, quantities, labor requirements, equipment, hauling, disposal, site conditions, and subcontractor/vendor pricing.
    • Ability to confidently read and interpret construction plans, drawings, specifications, scopes, and bid documents.
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of QuickBooks.
    • Strong written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate clearly with vendors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
    • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and numerical accuracy.
    • Ability to identify discrepancies, assess project requirements, and solve estimating challenges effectively.
    • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision in a remote environment.
    • Strong time-management skills and the ability to manage multiple estimating tasks and deadlines.
    • Availability to work 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Pacific Time, 40 hours per week.
    • Benefits:

      • USD $1,500–$2,500 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
      • Full-time, 100% remote position based in Latin America.
      • Opportunity to work directly on U.S. demolition and construction projects.
      • Hands-on responsibility across estimating, bidding, vendor coordination, and pre-construction activities.
      • Lean, practical working environment with an emphasis on straightforward communication and efficient execution.
      • Opportunity to apply and deepen specialized U.S. demolition estimating expertise.
