Revenue Retention Specialist
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Revenue Retention Specialist based in Brazil.
This role is focused on protecting revenue by ensuring client accounts, licenses, partner tags, and commission records remain accurate and properly aligned. You will work across CRM, partner-store, and billing data to identify discrepancies before they impact revenue. The position combines recurring audits, account reconciliation, client re-engagement, and internal coordination. You will also monitor account activity for signals that could affect subscriptions or partner commissions. Success requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and confidence working with financial and licensing information. This is an operational role suited to a self-directed professional who can manage recurring workflows accurately with minimal supervision.
Accountabilities
- Audit pending and unpaid commissions against partner records to identify discrepancies and potential revenue leakage.
- Review new client signups to verify that partner tags are associated correctly and on time.
- Map profile IDs to the appropriate client accounts within the CRM and maintain accurate account relationships.
- Keep client records up to date when ownership, account tiers, licensing, or partner-tag status changes.
- Audit license counts and identify discrepancies between purchased and billed licenses, escalating issues for correction when necessary.
- Monitor accounts for at-risk or expiring partner tags and take appropriate action to help maintain commission eligibility.
- Re-engage inactive clients when their inactivity could place partner tags or subscription status at risk.
- Identify positive licensing signals, such as significant user increases or license upgrades, and communicate relevant opportunities to the assigned consultant.
- Respond to client billing questions related to internal invoicing and ensure inquiries are handled professionally.
- Flag potential commission, licensing, and account-mapping issues and escalate confirmed discrepancies to the appropriate partner-store team.
- Maintain consistent audit processes and accurate records across CRM, partner, and billing systems.
- Working knowledge of Zoho CRM and the Zoho Partner/commission structure is required; this is an operational rather than technical or development-focused role.
- Ability to work during U.S. business hours and time zones; U.S. residency is not required.
- Experience auditing, reconciling, and validating information across multiple systems, such as CRM, partner-store, and billing platforms.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when handling financial, licensing, account, and commission data.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage recurring audit workflows consistently.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills for client outreach and internal escalations.
- Ability to identify discrepancies, investigate underlying issues, and escalate problems appropriately.
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision and taking ownership of assigned processes.
- A methodical and reliable approach to repetitive, accuracy-sensitive tasks.
- Ability to manage priorities effectively while maintaining a high level of data accuracy.
- Hourly compensation of $15 USD per hour.
- Fully remote work arrangement.
- Opportunity to work with CRM, partner management, licensing, billing, and revenue-retention processes.
- Flexible location, with availability required during U.S. business hours.
- Opportunity to develop practical experience in revenue operations, partner commissions, account management, and data reconciliation.
- This is an hourly position and is not eligible for standard company benefits.
