Senior Accounting Analyst

This role sits at the heart of a global Finance & Accounting organization supporting complex, multi-region operations. You will contribute directly to monthly and quarterly financial accuracy across international business units, ensuring reliable reporting and strong financial governance. The position requires close collaboration with teams across the Americas, Europe, and Asia in a highly dynamic, multicultural environment. You will play a key role in improving accounting processes, strengthening reconciliations, and supporting financial planning activities. This is a hands-on role combining operational accounting, analytical thinking, and cross-functional communication. It offers strong exposure to global finance operations and continuous improvement initiatives. The environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and focused on delivering high-quality financial insights.
Accountabilities:
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of financial statements.
- Prepare and review journal entries, working closely with shared services teams to ensure proper accounting treatment.
- Perform detailed balance sheet and P&L reconciliations, identifying discrepancies and proposing corrective actions.
- Review revenue and expense recognition to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with internal policies.
- Support intercompany invoicing processes, tax reporting activities, and annual financial planning cycles.
- Collaborate with regional finance teams to maintain alignment across financial reporting standards and practices.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives, enhancing tools, reporting efficiency, and accounting workflows.
- Strong background in accounting, finance, or related fields, with solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience in month-end closing processes, reconciliations, and journal entry preparation.
- Ability to analyze financial data, identify issues, and propose effective solutions with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills in English (mandatory), with the ability to interact in a global, cross-cultural environment.
- Strong organizational skills, autonomy, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Knowledge of financial systems such as SAP or similar ERP tools is highly desirable.
- Spanish proficiency is a plus, along with experience in multinational or shared services environments.
