Sênior, AI Architect- Agentic SDLC

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sênior, AI Architect- Agentic SDLC based in Brazil.

This role is designed for a senior technology professional passionate about artificial intelligence, software engineering, and the future of development workflows.
You will help design and implement AI-driven systems that transform the software development lifecycle through intelligent automation and agent-based solutions.
The position combines engineering expertise, cloud technologies, and generative AI to create scalable solutions used in real-world environments.
You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to evolve AI capabilities, improve delivery processes, and establish new engineering standards.

Accountabilities:

The Senior AI Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evolving agentic workflows that enhance software development processes through AI-powered automation while ensuring reliability, security, and quality.

• Customize and configure generative AI platforms according to software development lifecycle needs, including skills, personas, prompts, and contextual configurations.
• Develop and maintain AI agent workflows integrated with development pipelines, including Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD environments.
• Integrate AI agents across multiple stages of the SDLC, including analysis, refinement, development, testing, and deployment.
• Optimize agent configurations and strategies to improve performance and effectiveness across different development scenarios.
• Build and execute AI infrastructure roadmaps in collaboration with technical stakeholders.
• Automate development processes while maintaining high standards for quality, security, compliance, and governance.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks related to the adoption of AI agents in production environments.
• Ensure AI solutions follow ethical guidelines, regulatory requirements, and responsible AI practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in engineering workflows and AI-driven development practices.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate has strong software engineering experience combined with practical knowledge of AI technologies, automation, and modern development practices.

• Solid experience in software development using languages such as Java, Python, or similar technologies.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, GitFlow, and SonarQube.
• Practical experience with cloud computing environments, especially AWS services such as Lambda, SQS, and S3.
• Familiarity with generative AI tools applied to software development, such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar solutions.
• Ability to create, refine, and evaluate prompts, configure AI agents, and assess output quality.
• Strong understanding of software quality practices, including automated testing, BDD, and SAST.
• Experience working with software architecture principles and scalable engineering solutions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and adapt to evolving requirements.

Nice-to-have qualifications:

• Experience with agentic frameworks and methodologies such as AISDD, Spec-Kit, or similar approaches.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture using technologies such as Spring Boot or Quarkus.
• Familiarity with observability and workflow analysis tools such as Flow Ops, Databricks, or similar platforms.
• Experience working on large-scale projects involving multiple teams or squads.
• Previous experience in benefits, financial technology, or related industries.
