Senior Data Analyst

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Data Analyst based in Mexico.

This role sits at the heart of a data-driven, fast-scaling digital business where analytics directly shape product, marketing, and growth strategy. You will transform large and complex datasets into clear insights that influence decisions across acquisition, retention, personalization, and customer experience. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help define key metrics, uncover performance drivers, and identify opportunities for optimization. The environment is highly collaborative and execution-focused, requiring both strong technical depth and business intuition. You will also play a key role in enabling experimentation and advanced analytics to guide strategic initiatives. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, building scalable analytical solutions, and translating data into meaningful business impact.

Accountabilities:

• Build, maintain, and optimize dashboards and reporting solutions using tools such as Tableau and Snowflake
• Conduct advanced analytics including A/B testing, hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and forecasting
• Develop SQL and Python-based automation workflows to improve data quality, monitoring, and operational efficiency
• Analyze customer behavior and performance within e-commerce and subscription-based business models
• Partner closely with Product, Marketing, Engineering, and Merchandising teams to align analytics with business needs
• Translate complex datasets into clear insights, reports, and business recommendations for stakeholders
• Support experimentation design and measurement to evaluate product and marketing initiatives
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve acquisition, retention, and user experience
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across reporting systems and pipelines

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related quantitative roles
• Strong background in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field
• Proven experience working with e-commerce or subscription-based business models
• Hands-on expertise in SQL and Python (or R) for data analysis and automation
• Strong experience building dashboards and reports using Tableau
• Solid experience working with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms
• Strong knowledge of A/B testing, experimentation, and statistical analysis techniques
• Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience with dbt, Airflow, or similar data workflow tools is a plus
