This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Data Developer (SAP) based in Brazil.

Accountabilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize complex SAP HANA 2.0 data models, including Calculation Views, HDI Containers, and advanced SQLScript solutions.
  • Create and maintain Table Functions, Stored Procedures, Synonyms, and data access configurations to support analytical and transactional workloads.
  • Build, maintain, and troubleshoot ETL/ELT pipelines using SAP Data Services (BODS) for enterprise data movement.
  • Develop delta-load frameworks and transformation processes to ensure efficient and reliable data extraction.
  • Manage BODS job servers and optimize pipeline performance according to business and technical requirements.
  • Extract and integrate data from SAP S/4HANA using standard CDS Views, ODP frameworks, and SAP data structures.
  • Analyze SAP data dictionaries and business processes to identify effective extraction strategies.
  • Configure and optimize integrations between SAP environments and Google Cloud Platform, including Google Cloud Storage and BigQuery.
  • Design file-based integration solutions using formats such as Parquet and CSV to improve data processing efficiency.
  • Optimize BigQuery environments through effective partitioning, clustering, and schema design.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve data pipeline performance to support real-time or near-real-time analytics.
  • Recommend architectural improvements that balance data availability, system performance, and cost efficiency.
  • Requirements:

    • Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken, for collaboration with international teams and stakeholders.
    • Strong hands-on experience with SAP HANA 2.0, including XSA architecture, HDI Containers, Synonyms, and .hdbgrants.
    • Expert-level experience with SAP Data Services (BODS), including delta-load development, job server management, and complex transformations.
    • Proven experience migrating SAP data to Google BigQuery, with knowledge of partitioning, clustering, and schema optimization.
    • Strong understanding of S/4HANA data structures, including ACDOCA, MATDOC, and Core Data Services (CDS) Views.
    • Advanced SQLScript skills for developing SAP HANA Table Functions and Stored Procedures.
    • Experience implementing file-based staging integrations using Google Cloud Storage with Parquet and CSV formats.
    • Ability to understand both technical implementation and business processes, such as enterprise transaction flows.
    • Experience with SAP HANA 2.0 or S/4HANA certifications is considered a plus.
    • Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer certification is an advantage.
    • Familiarity with additional Google Cloud services such as Cloud Composer, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, or Cloud Functions is preferred.
    • Knowledge of SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), data governance frameworks, or master data management principles is a plus.
    • Previous experience with large-scale ERP modernization or cloud migration projects is highly valued.
