Senior DevOps Engineer

This Senior DevOps Engineer role sits at the core of a global digital transformation journey, where cloud, automation, and scalable infrastructure are key enablers of business innovation. You will act as a technical driver within a Digital & Cloud Solutions team, supporting the design and delivery of modern cloud architectures aligned with business outcomes. The role combines hands-on engineering with architectural thinking, requiring close collaboration with cross-functional IT and development teams. You will contribute to building and optimizing cloud infrastructure, ensuring security, performance, and reliability across environments. With strong autonomy, you will also challenge existing standards and propose improvements that shape long-term technical strategy. This is a highly international and innovation-driven environment where adaptability, curiosity, and technical excellence are essential.

Accountabilities:

• Design, support, and evolve cloud-based architectures aligned with business and technical requirements, ensuring scalable and efficient solutions.
• Provide technical expertise to engineering teams in building and maintaining cloud infrastructure and digital solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical designs and architecture recommendations.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automation processes, and infrastructure-as-code practices to improve delivery efficiency.
• Ensure security best practices across infrastructure, networking, identity management, and application design in cloud environments.
• Support development and deployment activities using cloud services such as IaaS, PaaS, and serverless architectures.
• Work closely with global, cross-functional teams in agile environments to deliver robust and reliable solutions.
• Document architectures, systems, and processes while continuously improving operational standards and practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related technical fields.
• Strong experience as a DevOps Engineer, ideally in Microsoft Azure environments.
• Hands-on knowledge of Azure services including IaaS, PaaS, and serverless architectures.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps and modern delivery practices.
• Solid background in Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform, ARM templates, Chef, or Ansible.
• Experience with containers and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of programming and scripting languages including .NET, Node.js, JavaScript, REST APIs, and PowerShell.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM, networking, and application architecture best practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively across distributed, international teams and time zones.
• Advanced English level (fluent/proficient) required.
• Azure certifications are considered a strong plus.
