Senior Engagement Manager

In this role, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of complex integration programs for major enterprise partners in the payments and fintech ecosystem. You will act as the primary point of contact across external clients and internal teams, ensuring seamless execution from onboarding through go-live. The position combines strategic advisory responsibilities with hands-on project leadership in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You will guide merchants in optimizing payment flows and improving conversion in real-time payment systems. Working closely with product, engineering, risk, and legal teams, you will help shape scalable integration practices. This role also involves mentoring other engagement managers and contributing to continuous process improvement. Your insights from client engagements will directly influence product and roadmap decisions.

Accountabilities:

• Lead end-to-end execution of complex enterprise integration projects, ensuring successful delivery across multiple workstreams, including technical, operational, and regulatory components.
• Act as a strategic advisor to enterprise clients, guiding them on payment optimization, Open Banking adoption, and conversion improvement strategies.
• Identify gaps in existing integration processes and contribute to the development of scalable best-practice frameworks and playbooks.
• Coordinate cross-functional alignment across product, engineering, risk, legal, and support teams for high-impact launches.
• Mentor and support junior and mid-level engagement managers, sharing expertise in project delivery and stakeholder management.
• Gather and synthesize client feedback to support continuous improvement of product strategy and technical roadmaps.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in technical program or project management within enterprise or strategic client environments.
• Strong knowledge of API-based integrations and web services, with the ability to engage confidently with technical and executive stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of the payments ecosystem, including Open Banking, RTP, ACH, and related financial infrastructure.
• Experience managing complex stakeholder environments with competing priorities and tight delivery timelines.
• PMP or Agile certification is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of recovering at-risk projects and delivering successful outcomes.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-facing advisory skills.
