This role offers the opportunity to shape and evolve a large-scale frontend ecosystem through the development of a modern Design System.
You will build reusable components and architecture patterns that improve consistency, scalability, and quality across multiple products.
The position focuses on frontend engineering excellence, component libraries, and collaboration with design and engineering teams.
You will work on foundational technology rather than individual business screens, creating solutions that empower multiple teams.

Accountabilities:

The Senior Frontend Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and evolving a reusable Design System and component library used across multiple applications. This role requires strong frontend architecture skills, technical ownership, and the ability to collaborate closely with engineering and design teams to establish scalable development standards.

• Develop and evolve reusable frontend components using React and TypeScript.
• Build advanced components based on existing libraries and internal Design System standards.
• Create reusable patterns for forms, dashboards, tables, and other interface elements.
• Ensure component quality by applying best practices related to accessibility, performance, responsiveness, and browser compatibility.
• Adapt AI-generated components and solutions into production-ready code with strong architecture, maintainability, and reusability.
• Document components and usage guidelines using Storybook or equivalent documentation tools.
• Manage versioning and distribution of component libraries across multiple products and teams.
• Collaborate with Design teams to continuously improve and expand the Design System.
• Promote frontend engineering standards focused on consistency, scalability, and technical excellence.
• Take ownership of deliveries from technical definition through implementation and validation.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a senior frontend engineer with strong experience building scalable interfaces, component libraries, and Design Systems. You should have excellent technical judgment, a strong focus on code quality, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

• Strong professional experience with React and TypeScript.
• Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive frontend development.
• Experience creating, maintaining, or evolving Design Systems or component libraries.
• Strong understanding of component architecture, abstraction, and code reuse principles.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards, including WCAG guidelines.
• Experience with Storybook or similar component documentation tools.
• Experience with component testing, including unit tests and/or visual regression testing.
• Ability to independently lead frontend initiatives and deliver solutions end-to-end.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to partner effectively with Design and Engineering teams.

Additional skills considered a plus:

• Experience with Ant Design.
• Knowledge of Design Tokens and theming strategies.
• Experience working with Monorepos, Turborepo, or Vite.
• Experience publishing and maintaining NPM libraries.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or v0.
• Knowledge of Next.js.
