This role is designed for a senior software engineer who combines strong backend expertise with a passion for AI-driven development practices.
You will design and deliver scalable, cloud-native applications while improving engineering productivity through automation and intelligent tools.
The position involves building modern enterprise solutions using Java, Python, microservices, and cloud technologies.
You will contribute to AI-assisted software engineering workflows, helping teams develop faster and with higher quality.
Working alongside multidisciplinary teams, you will influence architecture decisions, technical standards, and delivery practices.

Accountabilities:

The role focuses on designing, developing, and improving scalable software solutions while applying modern engineering practices and AI-driven approaches. You will take ownership of technical deliveries, collaborate with different stakeholders, and contribute to improving development efficiency across teams.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications and microservices using Java and Python.
• Build secure RESTful APIs, distributed systems, and enterprise-grade software solutions.
• Develop and implement solutions using modern cloud environments and data technologies.
• Apply AI-powered development tools to improve coding efficiency, testing, debugging, documentation, and automation workflows.
• Create reusable AI workflows that optimize repetitive engineering activities and increase developer productivity.
• Contribute to software architecture decisions, including microservices, event-driven systems, and API design.
• Follow Agile and DevOps best practices, ensuring reliable delivery through CI/CD pipelines and automated processes.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, promoting engineering excellence and adoption of AI-assisted practices.

Requirements:

We are looking for a senior-level professional with strong backend development experience, cloud knowledge, and the ability to leverage AI technologies to improve software engineering processes.

• Advanced experience with Java development and strong proficiency in Python.
• Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming, Spring Boot, and RESTful API development.
• Experience designing and implementing microservices architectures and distributed systems.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure Databricks, Apache Spark, Delta Lake, SQL, and data modeling.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures and modern API design principles.
• Experience with DevOps practices, including Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar solutions.
• Ability to apply AI for code generation, debugging, automation, and workflow optimization.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ownership mindset.
• Excellent communication skills with advanced or fluent English proficiency.
