Senior Named Account Manager
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner, Proofpoint, is looking for a Senior Named Account Manager based in Brazil.
This is a high-impact, senior sales role focused on driving new business and expanding strategic enterprise accounts within the cybersecurity space. You will operate at the center of complex sales cycles, engaging directly with senior security leaders and decision-makers across large organizations. The role combines strategic territory planning, hands-on prospecting, and full-cycle deal ownership from first contact through closing. You will work closely with channel partners to accelerate pipeline generation and revenue growth. This is a remote-first position with strong field engagement, including customer meetings and occasional travel. Accountabilities:
You will be responsible for leading the full sales cycle for enterprise cybersecurity solutions, with a strong focus on new business acquisition and strategic account expansion:
- Drive end-to-end sales activities including prospecting, qualification, solution positioning, negotiation, and deal closure
- Identify and develop new enterprise opportunities within the assigned territory through proactive outreach and market research
- Manage and grow existing strategic accounts to expand adoption and long-term value
- Conduct executive-level conversations and presentations with CISOs and senior IT/security stakeholders
- Partner with channel ecosystems to generate pipeline and accelerate revenue growth
- Maintain accurate forecasting, reporting, and strategic account planning within CRM systems
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to refine sales strategies and ensure execution excellence
- Participate in ongoing training and enablement to maintain deep product and market expertise
- Fluency in Brazilian Portuguese and English (mandatory)
- Extensive experience in cybersecurity or enterprise technology sales in the Brazilian market
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in a full-cycle sales role
- Experience selling through channel partners and managing partner-led opportunities
- Established relationships with senior cybersecurity stakeholders (e.g., CISOs) is highly valued
- Strong understanding of value-based and solution selling methodologies
- Ability to manage long, complex sales cycles with multiple decision-makers
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- Availability for occasional travel and flexible scheduling when required
