Senior .NET Engineer

Accountabilities:

The Senior .NET Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing backend solutions while ensuring technical excellence, reliability, and collaboration across teams.

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, ADO.NET, and SQL Server.
• Build and evolve SOAP and REST APIs following best practices, including proper versioning and maintainability standards.
• Implement reliable software solutions through unit testing, integration testing, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
• Support system integrations and apply appropriate software architecture patterns to create scalable solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, provide technical guidance, and support the development of junior team members.
• Contribute to CI/CD processes and help improve engineering workflows and delivery efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for modernization, optimization, and continuous improvement across existing solutions.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and apply relevant practices to enhance software quality.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a senior backend developer with strong .NET expertise, excellent communication skills, and experience working in complex and collaborative environments.

• Proven professional experience developing production systems using .NET Framework and .NET Core.
• Strong knowledge of C#, ADO.NET, SQL Server, database design, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience creating and maintaining SOAP and RESTful services.
• Experience with XML serialization and deserialization.
• Solid understanding of software design patterns, clean code principles, and development best practices.
• Ability to work effectively with multicultural teams and communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Advanced English proficiency for daily collaboration with international teams.
• Proactive mindset, ownership of responsibilities, and ability to adapt to changing requirements.
• Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to continuous learning.
• Collaborative approach with a focus on team success.

Nice-to-have qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms, especially Azure.
• Familiarity with specification-driven development or AI-assisted software development approaches.
• Previous experience working with Agile methodologies.
