The Senior Sales Manager will lead commercial growth initiatives across direct and hybrid markets, driving service sales and long-term customer relationships within the energy sector.

Accountabilities:

The Senior Sales Manager will own commercial activities across assigned markets, developing opportunities, managing strategic accounts, and delivering sales growth through direct and partner channels. The role requires strong negotiation capabilities, technical understanding, and the ability to manage complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing major customers, including executive-level stakeholders and sourcing leaders.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across direct customers, distributors, and hybrid market models.
  • Sell service solutions including spare parts, maintenance agreements, upgrades, field services, and digital solutions through effective customer engagement.
  • Lead complex negotiations covering commercial, financial, contractual, and technical aspects, including payment terms, guarantees, warranties, and delivery conditions.
  • Represent the organization with customers, distributors, partners, and relevant external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with commercial operations, service teams, and internal specialists to develop competitive customer solutions.
  • Own pricing strategies, market competitiveness, and commercial decisions to maximize business opportunities.
  • Build long-term market strategies by identifying industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging business opportunities.
  • Support the development of tailored solutions and new service offerings aligned with customer needs.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of products, technologies, and service capabilities to effectively position value propositions.
  • Requirements:

    The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in technical sales, business development, and customer relationship management within complex industrial environments. This role requires strong commercial judgment, communication skills, and the ability to influence decisions at senior levels.

    • Minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial roles, including direct sales and distributor-based sales within the power generation or related industrial sectors.
    • Proven experience managing strategic accounts, customer relationships, and complex sales processes.
    • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field.
    • Fluent English and Spanish communication skills.
    • Strong business acumen with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and executive audiences.
    • Experience selling complex technical solutions requiring capital investment decisions.
    • Ability to understand customer requirements, assess project opportunities, and develop compelling value propositions.
    • Strong negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to respond quickly to evolving business needs.
    • Excellent analytical, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
    • Ability to travel up to 50% as required.
