Senior/Staff Full-Stack Engineer

Accountabilities:

• Own and deliver full-stack product features end-to-end, from design and architecture through implementation and production deployment.
• Build and maintain responsive user-facing applications using React and TypeScript.
• Design, develop, and optimize backend services using Python and FastAPI to support scalable AI-driven workflows.
• Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, including schema design and complex SQL queries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate ambiguous healthcare and operational problems into production-ready software solutions.
• Improve engineering quality through code reviews, technical discussions, and shared best practices.
• Contribute to CI/CD, testing, observability, and development workflows that enhance system reliability and team velocity.
• Participate in architectural decisions and help evolve the overall system design as the platform scales.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of full-stack engineering experience with strong expertise in Python (FastAPI or similar) and React with TypeScript.
• Strong experience designing and working with relational databases, including PostgreSQL and non-trivial SQL queries.
• Solid understanding of modern backend and frontend architecture in production environments.
• Experience working with Docker and CI/CD pipelines in cloud-based development environments.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with comfort in asynchronous and cross-border collaboration.
• Ability to work overlapping hours with U.S. Eastern time zones.
• Proven ability to take ownership in fast-moving, ambiguous environments with minimal guidance.
• Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare or fintech is a plus.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform), Redis, or queueing systems is a bonus.
• Strong product mindset with a focus on shipping high-quality, user-impacting features.
