Software Architect Senior

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Software Architect Senior based in Brazil.

This senior architecture role sits at the core of large-scale digital transformation initiatives, where you will design and guide end-to-end technical solutions that connect business needs with scalable engineering execution.
You will act as a strategic bridge between business stakeholders, product teams, and engineering squads, ensuring alignment from discovery through delivery.
The role involves shaping both backend and frontend architectures, with a strong focus on performance, quality, and long-term maintainability.
You will participate in high-impact discovery sessions, translating complex business goals into robust and actionable technical designs.
Working in a highly collaborative, international, and agile environment, you will influence decision-making across multiple teams and domains.
You will also play a key role in driving continuous improvement, leveraging data, metrics, and emerging technologies such as AI to enhance solutions and delivery practices.

Accountabilities:

• Lead the definition and design of scalable software architectures across backend and frontend systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Participate in discovery sessions with stakeholders, translating business needs into clear technical solutions and system designs.
• Ensure application quality, performance, security, and maintainability throughout the software lifecycle.
• Facilitate technical alignment between multiple squads, Product Owners, and business teams, promoting strong cross-functional collaboration.
• Analyze system metrics, logs, and performance data to identify issues and drive continuous improvements.
• Support development teams by providing architectural guidance, technical direction, and decision-making frameworks.
• Contribute to modernization initiatives, including adoption of AI-driven approaches and modern engineering practices.
• Ensure adherence to agile methodologies and promote best practices in software delivery and system design.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Software Architect or senior-level technical lead in complex, distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture principles, design patterns, and scalable system design.
• Experience working across backend and frontend technologies in enterprise or large-scale environments.
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions in collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira or similar platforms.
• Exposure to AI-driven software development or integration of AI into engineering workflows is a strong plus.
• Advanced or fluent English is considered a differential.
• Resilience, adaptability, and strong problem-solving mindset in dynamic environments.
