This is a highly technical, customer-facing role at the intersection of solutions engineering and customer success within a fast-growing SaaS environment serving Shopify merchants. You will act as a trusted technical partner for e-commerce brands, helping them successfully implement, integrate, and scale the platform within their workflows. The role blends hands-on troubleshooting with strategic customer management, requiring both technical depth and strong communication skills. Depending on your track, you will either guide new customers through onboarding or manage an active portfolio of brands. You will work closely with engineering teams to resolve complex issues and improve product performance based on real customer feedback. The environment is fast-paced, remote-first, and highly collaborative, with strong ownership and autonomy expected. Your impact will directly influence customer satisfaction, retention, and product success across a growing portfolio of Shopify businesses.
Accountabilities:
- Lead onboarding or ongoing technical support for Shopify brands, ensuring successful adoption and long-term platform success depending on your assigned track.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues including API integrations, JavaScript implementations, and e-commerce workflow configurations.
- Act as the primary technical liaison between customers and internal engineering teams, escalating and clarifying product issues when needed.
- Identify recurring customer pain points and proactively communicate insights to improve product functionality and user experience.
- Create and maintain clear documentation, troubleshooting guides, and support resources to improve customer self-service capabilities.
- Participate in customer-facing communications via Slack, email, and calls, ensuring fast and high-quality responses in an async-first environment.
- Support continuous improvement of customer success processes as the team scales and evolves.
- Proven experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineer, Technical CSM, Implementation Specialist, or similar.
- Strong ability to understand and troubleshoot technical systems, including basic JavaScript, APIs, and command-line tools (e.g., curl).
- Experience with Shopify, e-commerce platforms, or SaaS integrations is a strong advantage.
- Excellent written English skills with confidence in async communication environments such as Slack.
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to independently manage customer accounts or a book of business.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate technical issues into clear customer-friendly communication.
