Sr QA Analyst

You will play a key role in ensuring the quality, stability, and functionality of mission-critical parcel and transportation systems through structured testing and issue analysis. The position combines hands-on QA execution with application support responsibilities, requiring close collaboration with business users, vendors, and technical teams. You will contribute directly to implementation success by validating workflows, troubleshooting issues, and supporting stabilization activities during and after deployment. The environment is highly collaborative, detail-oriented, and fast-paced, with a strong focus on operational reliability and continuous improvement. This is a fully remote role designed for professionals who enjoy problem-solving, ownership, and working across both business and technical domains.
Accountabilities:
In this role, you will support testing, validation, and operational stabilization activities for logistics and brokerage system implementations.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing activities based on business requirements and defined test plans.
- Create, maintain, and document test cases, scenarios, validation evidence, and test execution results.
- Validate that system functionality aligns with brokerage, customs clearance, parcel processing, and logistics operational workflows.
- Identify, document, and report defects with detailed reproduction steps, expected outcomes, screenshots, logs, and business impact analysis.
- Collaborate with QA leads, vendors, developers, and business teams to support defect triage and validate issue resolutions.
- Provide second-level application support by investigating reported issues and determining root causes related to functionality, configuration, data, or user processes.
- Support business users during testing cycles and post-go-live stabilization activities by reproducing issues and coordinating follow-up actions.
- Maintain accurate defect logs, issue tracking documentation, testing evidence, and implementation status updates.
- Participate in implementation meetings to communicate testing progress, blockers, risks, and open issues.
- Assist with production issue validation and coordination with external support teams during go-live and stabilization phases.
- Experience working as a QA Engineer, QA Analyst, Tester, Business QA Analyst, or Application Support Analyst in implementation or production support environments.
- Knowledge of Mexico brokerage operations, customs clearance, parcel processing, logistics workflows, or transportation systems is required.
- Strong understanding of functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, defect validation, and UAT support processes.
- Ability to translate business and functional requirements into detailed test cases and validation scenarios.
- Experience documenting defects clearly and collaborating with technical teams or vendors to resolve issues efficiently.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify whether issues are related to system functionality, data, configuration, processes, or user execution.
- Familiarity with QA and issue-tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, HP ALM, or similar platforms.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple testing activities and support tickets simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to diverse audiences.
- Experience supporting logistics or brokerage implementation projects is highly valued.
