This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Support Engineer, SAP FI-CO based in Brazil.

This is a highly technical SAP support role focused on delivering expert-level functional assistance across SAP FI and CO modules in complex, global enterprise environments. You will act as a trusted advisor to customers, troubleshooting critical issues and ensuring the stability and performance of mission-critical SAP systems. The role involves working closely with international clients to understand business needs, provide tailored solutions, and support continuous improvement of financial and controlling processes. You will also develop and deliver fixes, scripts, and enhancements in highly customized SAP landscapes. Operating within a global 24/7 support organization, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams across different time zones. Accountabilities

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering advanced SAP FI/CO functional support and ensuring the stability of client systems in complex environments. You will troubleshoot and resolve high-impact incidents while acting as a technical-functional advisor for assigned accounts.

  • Diagnose, analyze, and resolve complex SAP FI/CO issues using structured and methodical troubleshooting approaches
  • Provide remote-based functional support, guidance, and training across SAP financial and controlling modules
  • Develop fixes, scripts, and technical workarounds to resolve critical system defects and data issues
  • Collaborate directly with clients to understand requirements and deliver high-quality, timely solutions
  • Support and advise on SAP customizations, integrations, and best practice implementations
  • Maintain system performance and ensure consistent service quality in 24/7 support operations
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing, documentation, and continuous improvement of support methodologies
  • Requirements

    This role requires extensive hands-on SAP FI/CO expertise combined with strong analytical and client-facing capabilities in global environments. Candidates should bring deep functional knowledge of SAP systems and a proven ability to resolve complex enterprise issues.

    • 10+ years of functional SAP FI and CO experience, including strong troubleshooting expertise
    • Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations, configurations, and production support environments
    • Strong understanding of business processes within finance and controlling domains
    • Experience working in global, multi-client or consulting/support environments
    • Proficiency in ABAP debugging, SQL, and SAP technical architecture concepts
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex issues clearly to stakeholders
    • Ability to work independently in high-pressure environments and manage multiple priorities
    • Fluent in Portuguese and English (Spanish is a plus)
    • SAP certification(s) preferred
