Sr Technical Consultant

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr Technical Consultant based in Brazil.

This is a senior-level technical consulting role for a professional with strong expertise in a specialized discipline and the ability to work independently with limited guidance. You will apply deep conceptual and practical knowledge to solve complex problems, improve existing processes, and support important customer, operational, and project activities. The role offers opportunities to lead projects or defined project phases while collaborating with related teams and stakeholders. You will also serve as a resource for less experienced colleagues, sharing knowledge and helping strengthen team capabilities. Success in this position requires sound judgment, an understanding of best practices, and the ability to communicate complex or sensitive information clearly. This is a full-time remote opportunity based in Brazil.

Accountabilities:

• Apply advanced conceptual and practical knowledge within your technical discipline while understanding how your area connects with related functions.
• Work independently with minimal guidance to address complex technical and operational challenges.
• Lead small projects, project phases, or ongoing activities, managing risks and available resources effectively.
• Analyze information from multiple sources, challenge existing approaches, and develop practical solutions to complex problems.
• Contribute to process improvements and the adoption of best practices within your area of expertise.
• Support colleagues with less experience by providing expertise, informal guidance, and practical knowledge.
• Collaborate with customers, project teams, and related functions to support operational and service objectives.
• Communicate difficult or sensitive information effectively and help build alignment and consensus among stakeholders.
• Stay aware of relevant market factors, competitive considerations, and practices that influence your area of expertise.

Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent professional experience providing a solid foundation in the relevant technical discipline.
• In-depth conceptual and practical knowledge of a specialized area, including its fundamental principles, practices, and procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and exercise sound judgment when evaluating multiple sources of information.
• Experience working independently with minimal supervision and managing responsibilities within broad guidelines and established policies.
• Ability to lead small projects or project teams and manage manageable risks and resource requirements.
• Strong understanding of best practices and how your area of expertise integrates with other disciplines.
• Ability to provide guidance and support to junior or less experienced colleagues.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain complex or sensitive topics and build consensus.
