SRE / DevOps Engineer Sênior

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a SRE / DevOps Engineer Sênior based in Brazil.

This role is designed for a senior technology professional passionate about reliability, automation, and cloud-native environments. You will be responsible for ensuring the performance, scalability, and availability of critical platforms while enabling engineering teams to deliver software faster and more safely. The position combines Site Reliability Engineering and DevOps practices, working across cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and automation. You will collaborate closely with technical teams to implement best practices and improve operational excellence. Accountabilities:

The role focuses on building and maintaining reliable, scalable, and automated technology environments while supporting high-performing engineering teams.

• Design, implement, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient and secure software delivery.
• Provision, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure across platforms such as GCP, AWS, and Azure.
• Automate infrastructure processes using tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Operate, administer, and scale Kubernetes (GKE) and Docker-based environments.
• Establish and monitor reliability practices through key SRE indicators, including SLIs, SLOs, SLAs, MTTR, and MTTD.
• Build and enhance observability strategies, including monitoring, alerting, application performance management, and incident response capabilities.
• Work with monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace, Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK Stack (Elasticsearch and Kibana).
• Track performance indicators related to latency, traffic, errors, and system saturation.
• Partner with engineering squads to promote platform engineering practices, automation, reliability, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate has strong experience in SRE, DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and automation, with the ability to operate independently in critical environments.

• Proven experience working with cloud environments such as GCP, AWS, and/or Azure.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes (GKE) and Docker.
• Solid experience with Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure automation.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar solutions.
• Experience implementing observability and monitoring solutions.
• Knowledge of SRE metrics and reliability practices, including SLI, SLO, SLA, MTTR, and MTTD.
• Experience administering Linux environments.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly with developers and stakeholders.
• Proactive mindset focused on identifying risks, solving problems, and improving operational processes.
• Analytical, collaborative, and continuous improvement-oriented profile.
